  1. ScoUK you mention something that stood out for me too. Scoobies are rally cars and not the right shape to be super fast. I'm told this one stopped accelerating at 230mph, so can only assume that's not meant to be the top speed. I need to find out more about this car, but have to wait until I catch up with the original story teller again. Can I just say thanks for all the sensible replies so far.....This forum seems like a good one
  2. Thanks for the replies so far. We are talking of a car that will do over two hundred miles per hour here according the story.......A lot over two hundred!
  3. Hi all. First off, thanks in advance for any help I get with this question. I Have nipped into here from my usual Ford forum to ask just how fast you folks make your Impreza's go in non standard form. I was talking to someone the other day who told me they had been taken out for a spin in someone's scooby on a public road, to be shown just how fast it would go. So, bearing in mind this was a public road (not a long motorway or anything), what kind of speed would the most powerful modified scoobies do? The person told me that they did not continue accelerating faster, as they ran out of road before reaching full speed. So, bearing in mind that scoobies start off in the region of 150mph + (as far as I know), what is the top end of any of the modified cars here? I want to hear from the horses mouth what you folks can do, as the story I was told puts this scooby in Veyron territory.
