  1. ok so scoobyclinic i was a long way off with, will give them a ring in the week, but roger clark, i wasnt far off, looked on the site, WOW, gobstopper is immence, id love a full rebuild done, not in my budget tho i would guess, will have to ring them too, will post back after ive had a few words with them all, gunna get a few pics up too of the scooby as it is now cheers for that big dave Srimera
  2. scooby clinic ?? is that in the leeds - york area ? i seam to remember my dad taking his there for a service, was on a steep hill i believe. ive heard the name roy clark before but google brings up nothing (i could be wrong tho), does anyone have a web address for his site ? one last question, how long would it take for major mods to be completed, i might have to buy a cheap runaround if its more than a few days Srimera
  3. Wow, the P1 project is amazing, id be looking for 500-600 BHP too, it says close to 30k for that spec, i can maybe stretch to 40-45k but it would be over the period of a year tho, i want an everyday car that will also be very "at home" on a track, want it to be a sleeper too, maybe new wheels that are slightly bigger, but keeping the classic P1 looks, i know its an ambitious project and will cost a prety penny, but in all honesty i worked very hard for those pennys so i want something that in the end i will be able to look at and think "i spent my money well" and still be practical, i dont yet plan on giving up my career, so settling down is low on my priority list, but one day i will want to, and as a kid i spent most of my time sat in the back of a scooby and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us kids, so i think im prety safe in saying i wont have to let go of her right away lol on another note, my grandad bought the P1 back in 2000, he was a big kid and his mid life crisis came later on in his life lol, he died a few years ago and my dad got the P1 so he sold the WRX, now my dad wants a bigger car as the niece and nephew are getting older so im being handed the P1, its sentimental values are immence and i still want my dad to drive it now and again, driveability is a must, i dont want him to kill himself in it lol sorry for the essay guys, i'll shut up now and let you guys work your scooby magic lol Srimera
  4. Hi guys im looking at upgrading my stock year 2000 P1, its done about 50k so would an engine rebuild be needed if i wanted big power gains ? also how much power can you get from the scooby ? i have a limited budget, but more than enough to cover costs for a decent gain, what cost would i be looking at though ? i also want to upgrade the brakes and handling ive found a site that has many items and upgrades for the scooby, http://www.grahamgoode.com/subaru/index.php , ive looked through the site and most of it seams straight forward and fool proof, but then some of it gets a bit confusing, i would like it if someone who has used this site before would give me some feedback on the service and quality of the items if someone could be so kind as to put together a list of what i would need then i would be very greatful, would help me alot thanks in advance guys Srimera
  5. Hi guys, i'm Scott, and im a scooby-holic first things first, i have a confession, i dont have my P1 yet, i get it in about 8 days time, was me dads but hes getting something new, he wont tell me what yet, so its a hand me down, but in good condition, its also stock, so im going to be searching through your brains lads, im looking for alsorts which i shall leave for another topic lol im 24 and live at home, mainly because i spend many months a year overseas, im not a bum or a doley, just dont see the point in paying for a house that i barely live in, and i hope you guys see my point, ive been in this job for 6 years and because im mostly away my earnings remain mostly untouched, so ive bitten the bullet and im searching for big power with a fairly large budget, again something for another topic so yeah, i look forward to the help you guys can provide, if you need to know anything more you only have to ask Srimera
