Thanks for the replies. Checked the insurance on an 04 sti and there wasnt much difference between that and the wrx. So looks like I might go for the sti . Hopefully will have time to go see and test drive few next weekend.

Hi all, Looking for a bit of advice. Basically im looking into buying an impreza wrx turbo and have been looking at cars in my price range. My question is should I go for an 04 model with lower milage or a 05 model with higher milage?. Is there any difference in the two models. I read a review online (cant remember who wrote it) saying that the handling on the 05 model imprezas was messed up as the dampers werent set correctly? Is this true. Many thanks
