hello all thanks very much for all the info its been a massive help yes i think i definatly have a different backbox coz its still a reasonable sound have a pic here i think im definately after the afterbuner backbox by the sounds of things to start then will see how that gets on then decat after thanks again!!!!!

just wondering is there a haynes or a pdf manual for a 2001 wrx cant seem to find anything anywere???

hello all im new to the sidc club and just wanted a bit of advice on the exhaust system!! i currently have a wrx bugeye wagon on 2001 with the ppp pack and was thinking of about gettting a full decat system as ive herd many scoobys around here with the extra sound and im hooked. i have been trying to read up a bit on this but still have no answer to this if i were to get a full decat i would then need the car to be mapping accordingly yes?? would the car need the map more or less sraight away or would it run like a dog?? when mot time comes around nxt year will i then still be able to put the old cat back on to pass the mot without any issues with the map i do have friend that does mapping which is handy any tips or ideas on wot others have done would be handy thanks again!!

Hello all ive had my Wrx wagon now for nearly a year and have just found the forum which looks to be a great site and im now looking forward to starting the modifications on the scooby now. Looking forward to the meets aswell well heres a couple of pics of how she stands now brilliant condtion was a absoulte steal.........i literally cant stop driving its costing me a fortune in petrol lol!! ohh and at the mo its a 2.0 with the ppp package would like to get a print out for it reallly see how shes doing!!! What you think??
