Been running Pirelli P Zeros on 18" Prodrive wheels on a 330bhp Sti Hatch which I have done 22k miles on and still have 3mm left on front 5mm on rears, great grip and reasonable on road noise. Bought another set of wheels off ebay ( bargain !!)and shoe'd them up with Vredestein Wintrac Extreme Winters and these stick like glue in the winter conditions well worth the money just adds to the AWD and allows lively performance in poor conditions. The best advice would be to put the best quality tyres on that you can afford but stay clear of budget options its false economy. Good Luck Higgsy

Just thought it might be worth a mention that the current Subaru franchise at Startin Ltd, Powick, Worcester is apparently moving to Jason Jones Autos , Shutonger , Tewkesbury , not sure when or why but as I bought my new 2010 STi 330 from Startin I am a bit miffed as the new place is a bit out the way, and I got on quite well with Colin the Subaru Sales Specialist. On a positive note I wont' feel too guilty about taking the car to Scooby Projects in Ledbury from now on for its servicing and maybe the odd tinker or two !!!!

Hi Andy, I am trying to get him to join but you know what kids are like when something costs money particularly when he can spend it on his Scoob?? I might have cocked up with the dates as we have visitors from "up north" down for that weekend,if I can't make it I will offer small bribe to son to come over and represent us both. Higgsy

Hi guys, I'm new to this as I have just got my first scoob and joined SIDC, running a RED 2010 Hatch Sti PPP in Malvern so might try and sneak out over the bank holiday weekend , I might bring my son along, he has a 1999 Turbo 2000 and eats , drinks and breaths scoobs so I am sure he would be in good company, me I just drive the things !!!!

Totally Agree , I have a 60 mile daily round trip to the office which includes motorway (M50) and country roads, what a stress buster it is in my 2010 Sti 330 Hatch particularly as I have now learnt to drive again after running 3 "tractors" as my previous cars. Higgsy
