  1. Cheers mate, much appreciated for the quick response
  2. Hi All, I need a quick response with this if possible... Will a (N Reg) pre-facelift radiator fit in the place of a (S Reg) facelift radiator? The story behind the question is i bought a car with a burst radiator, managed to patch it up and replace the coolant with what was already in it (caught it in a bucket when taking the rad out), i topped up the rest with water and forgot to add more antifreeze (the ratio must have been, water 5:1 antifreeze). Next thing i knew the sub-zero temperatures had hit and my rad had frozen and burst and yes i know im lucky my block didnt crack also . Anyone willing to give me a quick yes/no with my question? Thanks all, Steve

  4. Sounds like it might be worth checking your water pump
  5. Hey everyone, Was just cleaning out my new scoob and noticed 2 sets of wires coming through the dash on the drivers side, at first they were tucked away into the vent so it almost looked like they were connected to something, on investigating where on earth they connected to (Was trying to find somewhere less obvious to run them) i noticed that they werent even connected to anything inside the car... The first set of wires had a 3-wire connecter on the end of it which i soon realised matched up with what i saw under the hood near the dumpvalve so i have put 2+2 together and i believe this is for a boost gauge, The second set of wires however has a 4-wire connecter on it (may be five, il update this when i get home) and i cannot find where this connects to, Any ideas of what this may be? Also are these connecters universal to the gauges or would i need to somehow find out from the previous owner the make/model of the gauges to install my own? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated guys. Cheers, Steve
  6. Thanks and no problem, I think im just going to replace the alarm system in it, which leads me to the next question, any ideas how much it will cost to replace the alarm system? Cheers, Steve
  7. Hi all, Im new to this site (Got my first scooby last week, a 1998 UK Turbo) and i need a bit of help, My scooby has a cat 1 toad alarm factory fitted and has been sitting in my garage for roughly a week til i get the ownership papers sorted out but it seems to have developed a buzzing noise, not the alarm triggering but an actual buzz, i have silenced the alarm for now til i find a solution! My brother told me that it might have something to do with the battery going low but i thought id check with some impreza-experienced guys before replacing the battery (Already tried charging it but it kept buzzing and the battery is near dead by the voltage reading on it anyway!) incase it was something else e.g an alarm sensor malfunctioning or the likes. Is this a common problem or would you recommend taking it to an alarm specialist? Thanks, Steve
