  1. If it already has PPP which i understand involves a reprogrammed ECU is it possible to have a further remap at a later stage? On the ST i am capable of changing maps whenever via my on board diagnostics port and a handehld device, is their hardware/software available for the subaru to allow me to do this? Im also looking at the earlier models, 05/55 plate with the smaller engine compared to the hawkeye, which has the stronger engine and most modifyable? Im hearing about "clutch services"? what does this involve, how long does a clutch last for ( i dont do full on launches very often!) and at what point would a clutch upgrade be applicable? Sorry for all the questions and thanks for the reply!
  2. hello, Im currently running a Focus ST with approx 300bhp. Im now considering trading this in for a 2007 wrx with PPP. I get around 18mpg around town and normally about 27mpg on a mixed spirited drive. How does the WRX compare to this? I only do upto 4k a yr mileage so its not too much of a deciding factor. I pay around 150-180 for a full service with a recognised tuner. Again, how does this compare? Im looking at WRX's with approx 20k on the clock, at what mileage/age should i expect things to start need replacing? ie the cambelt on the ST is good for 100k. i understand the PPP means figures of 260bhp, without replacing the turbo what would the recommended tuning upgrades be to release more power and at what cost? I worry that on a test drive i may find the WRX slower than the ST at lower revs, the beauty of a remapped ST is the incredible torque low down. Do the WRX's have much turbo lag? Bit of a swine that the road tax is double but i can get over that. Any advice or opinions would be much appreciated. Mike
