It took my storeman at work about a week to try & get hold of someone there & when he finally did they didn't have the parts in stock, it was only a set of wiper blades for my hatch!

Car looks sweet! Think if you got the black headlights that would finish the front end off just perfect, think they were an option on the hawk eyes? Or i've heard of guys taking them to bits & painting the inserts! Think theres an option for de-chromed tail lights too?

I think a black car looks well when everything is black on it, wheels, windows, grilles like marko said above. Makes for a really stealthy looking car! Think they call it the murdered out look

I'm not sure what he's charging to do the windows these days? But i did hear he's getting hassle from the police so he's not doing front windows anymore. The springs were a caker to fit, i'm a mechanic so i would say that. But if you know the basics you'll easy manage, just a set of spring clamps! It's not mega low, just sits spot on, I lowered mine before i even started running it but can't fault the handling now. Give me a shout when your back in the deen & you can have a looky if your needing!

Fit Like! Nice to see another hatch in the deen, good choice mate! If your needing your windows done, Give Scott at motorwerks a shout, he'll sort you out! I wouldnt use a steamer to de-badge it, i took the sti badge off mine, just used the girlfriends hairdryer to soften up the glue on the badge & pulled it off, some tar & glue will take off the sticky stuff thats left behind. I'd give Brian Downie a shout if your wanting some more power, he knows his stuff & can easy sort out anything your needing. I've got tein springs in mine, sits real nice & still comfy to drive!

Welcome! Another hatch owner, good choice! Can't fault the handling of my one so far!! I've a full decat, induction kit & remap on mine, think it's round about 340ish, car pulls really hard in every gear, can't wait to get it back on the road once all this crap weather is past!!

Yep, that was me, sorely tempted with the black STi, but the white 330S was nice also, decisions decisions. Go with the black one! Don't want another white hatch in aberdeen lol I've had my sti mapped & a full decat & filter, it pulls like a train! Not sure how a 330 would compare to it but i love my hatch!

Has anyone had any bits wrapped on their cars? Wanting to get the roof on my hatch done, not sure where's best to get it done?

Mine has a genuine sti one on it, it was on when i bought the car though. i bought one from ht autos for my bugeye & it fitted spot on & a caker to fit! Would defo use them again!

Have any of you hatch guys had your cars mapped yet? Mine is getting done in the next couple weeks to set it up for the exhaust filter etc, i just got it back from subaru after it went in for an overheating fault, ended up getting a new short motor, 2 new heads & a new turbo under warranty!

I thought the garage was just doing a quick set up on the alignment till you got it set up properly? I'd hate to see what he'd charge for a proper job Guess you won't be using him again!

Sorry if they just did a quick set up on it would just be another half hour on top of that!

I'm a mechanic too, charging you 8 hours is crazy! i've done loads of sets of springs and shocks on all models of subaru, 2 and a half 3 hours max i'd say!

I only knew of it when Mathew had it, it was a nice car! I had a green classic before i bought my bugeye, That's what got me into all things subaru!

Cheers! Realy liking the hatch, it feels much more refined than the bug, finished off alot nicer inside too! Their not everyones cup of tea but then neither were the bugeyes when they first came out! The hatch is getting mapped in a couple weeks after a few tweeks that ive added, looking forward to seeing how it turns out! The bug wasn't in any mags, did all the mods to it myself (apart from the paint work), was sad to see it go but the hatch is a nice replacement
