it was like this when i bought it and i am trying to sort things out but its been dining around like this for a few years

i done this event three times about 15 years ago in my mark two was a great day always freezing but good fun with the broken tarmac and gravel down the back i even managed to finish one year with my navigator hanging out of the boot dont think poor stuart ever recoverd

heres one foe every one to chew on i have a 96 scooby first of the face-lift models there is fault code 33 (speed sensor) and backfires when lifting off the throttle its worse inbetween cold and hot the car has yellow injectors and fancy turbo it boosts at 1.2 bar and drives fine very ocasionaly it may cut out at a junction but the backfire is too much any ideas . i had a local garage look at it and they recon because of the yellow injectors it needs a re-map which is fine but i dont want to thow money away if its not the cure
