I can buy the anti lift kit and a roll centre adjustment kit, and get a local garage to fit them, but i have no idea about comprehensive geometry set up. is there any places that do this hole thing, as im this is my first sort of sports 4x4 car, and i dont know what im doing, i just know i dont like driving when it understeers, it doesnt matter to me if cumfort or speed is effected. as long as it just goes roundf the corner. anc i know subarus can drift instead of understeer.

Been so busy, have not done anything, but still having problems, I can handle oversteer, and love going back into my old 4x4, when I know in rain or just going fast round a corner and it starts to drift, I know I can get round the corner, I dont like it when my subaru just desides not to turn as much as I want it, I hate it, so yer I will do something about it, Im going to get a new set of decent tires, and put them on the front for a few months, till my other set wears down, as they are newish but probaly not that good. But yer I want the other stuff done, I need new rear suspention shock, as they are damaged and will fail an Mot, So was thinking of getting all these parts fitted at the same time. I have been looking at getting my rear 5 windows tinted, has anyone got theres done in North Yorkshire, where is a good place, I have looked around, and seen about two places, for £180 - £200 to do all 5, dont know what they are like, and what things could I ask to make sure its a good job, and wont bubble or peal off when sumer hits in. Hi Iv have my subaru for a year now, before that Iv had a rear wheel drive car. Now Im driving this all the time and in all weathers I found that it understeers rather alot, and as Im not used to understeer I feel worryed at times, Is there anything I can do to make it oversteer, as then I can at least get it round the corner. As in putting strut brases on or anything. I have had nwe tires put on the front, and then a few months later new ones for the rear, which I then switched round, keeping the best grip to the front, but still understeer in just slight damp on the road. What can be done.

Still no loose of oil, and a few garagaes have seen it, and said it is the engine, but not wanted to fix it. It may I cant describe it as well as they have explained it to me, as it does seem serious.

Every time I have checked it, it has just been a tinty bit under the max level, so that shouldnt be bad. And I can hear it from under the engin, just didnt know what it was. The garage I normaly go to is ok 4 my other cars, and he wouldnt mind doing brake n stuff on this, n when I mentioned engine, he said sorry I will ave 2 take it 2 subaru. So not many people out there have had this problem. Jamie

They said had I been running it with no oil, last owned had had it serviced regulary, and I ave 2, so no it aint run with no oil. Yer the small motor is a new part, but still rest of engine aint new, they aint taken it apart just had car for MOT. I didnt ask much, I just got car keys and went, Well also they said £20 4 a new wiper blade, so I tort what a rip off, as I got all 3 wiper blades 4 £21 on trade just a few months ago, Febuary, so they wanted me 2 pay out 4 that, Its getting Moted in a few weeks sumwhere else, and it will pass as I just needed tires. But still the main problem, the engine, from what Iv heard, a few cars of this modle ave had this problem, ny1 out there had it, what did you do, my view now seems its simpler getting aa reconed engine. Oh Ok thanks, well aint been on here long, n Im only young soI dont know a lot bout these cars, also if u ave read my other post u may see that i cant even drive my subaru. But If I can get it sorted I maybe come a member, as I do like the subaru, and also I like the forester, which I think will be my next car, just due to the size, as Iv had my car full a few times.

Hi Im a new member to this forum, I have owned an 03 Scooby 4 just less than a year. Took it for its 1st service since I'v owned it, and BANG , they have given me an estimated bill to replace the small motor of £2500 , has this happened to anyone else, My engine makes a slight ticking, cant say I feel like its lost power. A month ago, my alternator belt had broken, I replace that which is also for my power steering, then replaced my aircon belt as that had been slightly damaged too. Is this related, can anyone give me some help. From what Iv seen when looking it seems that the 2001 -03 modles have had a few of this problems, and I have been sugested into gettin an Reconed engine to replace mine.
