well got an answer (an expensive one) had it checked out to find out why havin the issue and its nothing to do with tyres, car came with set of wheels with wrong offset on and as result after checking everything possible the outcome is the belief the front Diff is on the way out . So new alloys needed and a replacement front diff.

Hi All just joined after a 9 year Impreza absence and after a bit of advice on tyres, after looking through the revious post on tyres decided to replace the tyre on the car (Toyo's) with 4 new Vred Sessantas(225/40/18's). Ever since putting them on I get torque steer to either the right or left depending where different wheels/tyre are positioned. Anyone ever had this problem with Vredestiens before ? Had it back to garage today and they are going to replce all 4 with Vred Centos instead as the rep from Vredestien recons they may just not suit the car (2007 STI UK) and the Centos are the replacements for the Sessanta, also any one used the Centos and if so what are they like. Thanks
