  1. Thanks guys - was planning sgrounging old alloys for practicing - Ive been getting a bit of spray lessons from an old panel beater on my old lady in the garage but he had no idea about the baking paint side of things !
  2. Is there any Spray painters/ wheel refurbishers on here that I can pick their brains ? Ive got a spot type sand blasting gun and spray guns because I,m working on an old classic (non scooby ) I,d like to try a little alloy wheel refurbs - not rebuilds just repaint - and want to build a heated box to bake the paint onto the wheel In my normal job I,m a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer and have access to insulated panels for constructing the box Question is - what sort of temperture am I aiming for and for how long would I need to "bake" them for ??? Thanks for looking Scott
  3. Thanks very much. I'm based in Morayshire. Funnily enough it did until today - got my own plate on it now - I hope you don't have any horror stories!!! Yes I was and I parked there on purpose cos I seen you're classic - nice car!
