That's what I thought. Here's a pic. It's the bottle top like you say but it makes a fair whoosh sound like I say. Most people I do have in the car ask me about the dump valve to which I reply I don't have one.

Got a quiet Bailey's one.

You can tell yourself they reduce turbo lag, if it helps. I do.

Does the Bailey dump valve look like the standard one?

The reason I ask is, my car makes a fair whoosh sound as if it has a dump valve. I'm almost certain it doesn't unless the Bailey one looks like the standard one. I know the car has previously had a Bailey Dump valve fitted as it's in the list of receipts I have for the car.

I'm thinking the mods like the APS induction kit have enhanced the sound of the standard dump valve.

I'm still new on here so thought I'd introduce myself and post some pics up of my new motor. I'm loving it.

It's the 1st Jap car I've owned after owning a couple of BMW's previously.

Had a mate that used to own a P1 not long ago until he sold it. I used to enjoy driving that so knew it was a safe bet buying one.
