Very sad news indeed. Was always a cheery chap when I met him. RIP Simon
I'd like to partake in a run as long as a scooby isn't required (kind of missing one at the moment).

If she's anything like my wife...
Catch up with you soon!

Not bad mate! I didn't make it up there last year much either due to work. Lol at stupid babies! One of mine is 16 and answering me back. :-)
Boot in the baws will sort that out Had our second (daughter) 6 weeks ago, and my son is two now. Sometimes I wished I had kids earlier in life, it's bloody hard work...

The car seems be getting a slagging off for being a 'chav, barry boy' car over on Scoobynet...
No need for some of the comments over on that thread
Sums up scabbynet really. Can't stand the place.
Grant had sold the car as far as I am aware Neil. No idea who was driving it.
Thanks Paul, didn't know Grant had sold it. Sad it see it's demise tough, lovely machine.
Hows tricks? Really need to get up to Knockhill next year, only been twice this year! Fecking babies

Shit! What happened? Is Squirrel OK? Anyone got a link to the scabbynet post?

Hmm, now sure about the domain names to be honest. Looking at them from a memorable point of view, these are not. What's wrong with www.lothianplumbingservices.co.uk, www.lothianheatingservices.co.uk or something (these are available)? Great for SEO (google and the likes), just not sure if there's a business with that name already registered (google doesn't show anything on the first page).
Don't just rush out and buy a domain name if you have no intention of getting a proper, well designed, site up and running. Nothing worse than viewing a site that's been thrown together in some freebie "web site builder" software. Give me a shout if you need any help with this side of things, this is my day job (mainly working on the likes of RBS, Channel 4, and lots of other 'high profile' companies), and I live just down the road from you
Cheers,
Neil.

Glad you like it, happy to help
I saved the Photoshop file, so if you fancy things in a different colour, just post your ideas up.

Thanks for the heads up folks, will hold off and keep an eye on approved Land Rover dealers.
Cheers,
Neil.

Cheers, I'll take a pop down tomorrow and have a sniff around
Spaceman, it's not sold (unless you are seeing a different page to me? http://caldermotor.co.uk/cgi-bin/details.pl?v_vin=LR57AWH)
Shitty website though, normally says a lot about a company. Will see tomorrow...
-
Should really have mentioned they are in West Lothian, in case there is another Calder Motors somewhere..
-
Hi folks,
Off to see a motor tomorrow and just wondered what Calder Motor's were like? Never bought second hand for around 8 years now, and just want to make sure they are reputable before jumping in and spending a small fortune with them.
Any help/advice/donations are very welcome
Neil.
edited to add, it's not a subaru

I'll need to buy another scooby first
Was a paid up member for a few years, but moved to another fold due to not wanting a hatch.

Hi, still alive here too. Working in Edinburgh, two kids growing up too fast and still miss my imprezas, especially the hawkeye sti. Currently got an Abarth 595 to escape the pain that is the mrs' peugeot 3008. Still tinkering with photography, just not as much. Good to see some old names ?
