  1. Cheers for the reply. Looking on Autotrader I would think that £3500 would be a good buy. I think the car has been sitting about in his garage for a while, hence the low miles and services. I will try and find out why there is such a gap in the servicing between 2004 and 2007! The guy is definetly genuine so dont have any concerns there.
  2. Thanks for the quick reply. Apprently it came out of the factory with the kit and shift? Any ideas how to check if original?
  3. Hi All, I am new to this site and I am in the process of looking at a classic original which is untouched. I have come across the following car and would like some thoughts on values. Subaru Impreza 2000 Turbo - 2000 X reg - 60,000 genuine miles. The car has no known accident damage and was checked out by a local garage and I had an hpi report carried out on it ok. It does not have a full service history, but has the following: 1112 miles - Subaru - 23/11/00 5755 - Subaru - 4/07/01 10583 - Subaru - 2/01/02 16140 - Subaru - 20/08/02 19741 - Subaru - 21/02/03 23658 - Subaru - 26/08/03 32011 - Subaru - 30/08/04 51341 - 18/01/07 56435 - 24/06/08 60506 - 30/11/09 Although the service history is not full, the previous owner is in his late 30's and worked as an engineer in the oil industry and told me he had serviced it himself. It has had to have various things done to it in the last six months: Genuine Subaru timing belt kit - receipt available and sticker in engine with date of installation. Fuel filler pipe replacement- Surprisingly expensive dealer only part! Mot Service Filters changed New spark plugs & leads Air flow meter Wipers Brake pads and discs Receipts are available for all of the above and were the best part of £1000. The spark plugs and air flow meter etc was changed as the engine was misfiring slightly. The car has had three owners. It The previous owner bought the car in Nov 2004. The car was professionally and fully valeted recently. When it came back polished it showed up a small repair that has been done to the bodywork above the fuel filler. In certain lights this can be seen and ideally I would like it sorted out. I have a quote from a local bodyshop of £200 to make it right. There are the odd stonechips and one of the alloys has a scuff mark on it. Otherwise the body is in excellent condition. The Alloys have been repainted at some point in there life. He is looking for around £3800 to £4000 which I think is ok but I would really value other expert opinions. Finally it has the body kit on it and quick shift box. Are these standard for this age of Impreza? Thanks in advance and great site. Cheers, Deejay
