About potiriadis

  1. I have just hung up the phone from Sky insurance where I was attempting to resolve an issue over policy cancellation. After accepting an offer of insurance over the phone, I decided to stay with my existing provider. I had not received or signed an policy documents at this time. When I phoned Sky to tell them I would not be taking out the policy I was not advised of any charges or deductions as the policy had not started. I received a letter today advising that £130 was being deducted from my refund for charges and commissions, and that it would take 4 - 6 weeks for the refund to be processed. Now common sense dictates that if I had been advised that the cost of cancellation would be £130, unless I was saving at least that much with another provider I would have stayed with them. While I am sure that when tapes are examined ti will prove that I was advised that there would be commissions and fees, I know I was not advised that they would represent 20% of the total price. So please beware. They seem like nice enough people, but listen carefully to what they say just before the take your money, you might not get it back.
  2. I would love to see what the PPP actually delivers, Not sure if a Hatch would be welcome though
