  1. Grecian 2000 or something similar. Not to sure how well it key's to cylinder casings, but I'll try it.
  2. Chris glad your home safely, or more so the WL. Looks like you had a cracking days motoring, nothing better than blowing a few cobwebs away. Just thinking back you were running, low boost, no nos, and road tyres and a best of 11.3's not to shabby. Oh and launch control unavailiable, ecu gremlins I suspect or neutral pos sensor gubbed. I'm sure Andy F will be able to check it out. I'm looking forward to more mapping with Andy this week on the dyno, I'm glad to say. It's rather entertaining with only 1.6 bar and nos and very lively even in 4th, just to the point of breaking traction. Roll on High boost and more NOS!!!!!!!!! Just thought I'd give you our deadline on Chris's car last week, engine installed last saturday, custom pipes fabricated sunday/monday (cheers Barry) NOS hard wired ready for ecu and plumbed. Ecu arrives from Steve Simpson tues afternoon, running tuesday evening. Running in begins 10pm till 1.30am, another 5hrs wednesday and a further 4hrs thursday early morning. Total of nearly 500mls. Mapping due for 1pm, injectors arrive 12.45 pm and Andy helped me out by coming to me (thanks). Injector wireing plugs swapped over , injectors installed and tank full. Let the fun begin. Mapping went without any problems, our only issue is there's possibly a restriction in the air filter (not big enough). I'd like to thank Barry, Frank and Andy for their help in this project, it wouldn't have happened without your efforts. Thanks lads. Andy I'll tie up with you on the mapping date this week. And a big thanks to Chris for my grey hair and reclining fore head Sure it wasn't there when I started it, no point asking the better half as my name gives a rather vacant look in her eye! Colin I was impressed with your motor today, you've mastered the launch to perfection 10's motor all day, everyday!
  3. Hi Callum. Hope all's going well state side. Coilovers are here, I just need to pick them up from Graeme and install. I'll have Graeme set the geo's on it before your home. Oh I'll order uprated mounts to try and stop the motor climbing out the engine bay
  4. Colin I'm sure Barry's bringing his trailer to crail. I'll be there incognito, and Frank will be the one with S W Motorsport on his jacket. No tools supplied on the day.
  5. Couldn't find a sniffing icon, but this was me yesterday
  6. Hi Chris just home and looking back at the mapping session today. Glad it all came together, even if it was tight for time it all went to plan. I have to thank Andy for a whole new mapping experience. NOS is the dogs danglies and should be tucked in the boot of every scoob. You asked if I'd be at Crail on sunday, you bet. Only problem you could end up being a passenger, I'm hooked This is me on straight nos.
  7. Yeh it's getting there, but it wouldn't if it wasn't for the help of Barry and Frank. Cheers lads. Now to put in a couple of ghousters running it in.
  8. Last 2 nites finished at 8pm, way to many hours for a weekend!
  9. Had a spy at your graph looks good , can't remember when it makes 1 bar of boost and full boost?
  10. More likely cam sensor when hot starting issues. Just as easy to swap over.
  11. Hi Colin. Those calipers were just there to confuse Frank. I'm wondering how your motor drives without dump valve fitted? Considering it on Chris's car, I'll be mocking up custom pipes shortly for Barry to weld and would be good time to delete.
  12. Turbo's rated at 400+ each or there about's. My next issue is once the R8 v10 audi box is fitted the ecu wireing is going to be a challenge!!!
  13. Just wondering if he's a member of the same bank as my son Paul ie: ROYAL BANK OF LINDA.
  14. Aye Barry he's got ma heed aboot burstin. Take rods for instance I showed Frank several sets, crower, pauter, cossie and some custom titainium fellies I've lying around. He just can't decide, so I'll post up some pics and let members choose . Oh and take a look at their individual weights, very interesting! Custon Titainium rods Cosworth rods Pauter rods Crower rods
  15. Aye grey it is and reclining, all credit to Chris. Cheers. I've spent today on a crash course on tucking an 11lb bomb into the back of Chris's motor, and then running fuse wire straight to ignition key I'm sure Chris is far better quaified than I.
  16. Yep sure is Grant, I had a nano second to spare so thought I'd post up for once.
  17. Oh and wait and see his turbo's. Pics to follow.
  18. Barry don't think much of Frank's big build , 2.65cc's that's rather small. 2650cc's going to be nearer the mark, knowing Frank he's heading for the moon and back . Forget all those 2.33's there're just for mortals. Frank's on a whole new wavelength!!!
