  1. hearts will get a cva and be able to continue as they dont owe HMRC. dont really feel sorry for them as they aint exactly my favourite team. its a reality of football that a few clubs in scotland need to realise, if you spend more than you earn you will end up in trouble.

its a good chance for the well run teams in scotland to thrive and the rest will get what they deserve, be it administration or liquidation.

  2. Had the gb270 in for its 5 year/ 50k service yesterday including timing belt. Big thanks to charlie and mike a grieves for a top job and the usual excellent standard of service.

They also have a deal on just now, got the service for £398 instead of over £550 and its genuine subaru parts :headbang: think most of the services have a good discount on them so maybe worth a call if yours is due.

  3. no not my scoob.

ive got about 1000 dvds that i need to offload and was thinking of juat doing a car boot anf basicly flogging for about £1 each . was thinking of doing it at either the omni centre car boot but heard theres alot of thieving gypsys there that have liht fingers and never done a car boot before either. spoke to my pal who works in blockbuster and he said they only give you like 18p a dvd sometimes. was also told to try that music magpie etc so i scanned the box set of season 1+2 of heros and it offered like 80p.. WTF !!! same as i tried an unopened hardened edition of call of duty black ops 2 that i got at xmas and its still sealed up un played and it offered me like £18. i know i can get alot more than.that for an unopened version from a shop up town.

so anybody else suggest anything else decent i could try? or do yous think carboot is the best option? its no like the dvds are tatty or that. all bouht brand new watched once then put on a shelf and sat there. as for some reason i remember everything.that happens in every film ive watched so it puts me off watching again .

also if car boot is the best option anybody got any tips from experience theyve had if theyve car booted before . if thats the term for it lol

dont know why but pre-owned limited edition games are worth less than the standard editions??? try amazons trade in service as you often get more value as they give you it as an amazon voucher. as for it being unopened matter not a jot for pre-owned games :crying:

  4. hawkeye i take it?

my key has stopped working in the boot, although the lever still works. the middle bit in the seats is the only easy way in im afraid.

has anyone got any fixes for this? tried good old wd40....nothing. have heard of a few others, coating the key in fairy liquid? heating the key up with a flame and using it in the lock? and lastly taking the whole boot lock out and soaking it and cleaning it?

2nd time ive had this problem although the 1st was under warranty thank feck!!

obviously these fixes wont cure the lever problem only the key/lock one i'll let u know how i get on as planning on tackling this over the next 1-2 weeks

  5. needing the 50k service done, so anyone got any reccomendations im in the central belt just outside glasgow. will get a price from ian grieves as well.

on another note the boot lock on the hawk has stuck broke again, got it repaired/replaced under warranty last time however that was 2 years ago. i know its a common problem with it just stopping working (cracking subaru build quality again) so are there any fixes or does it need replaced and does anyone know a price??

    cheers :occasion14:

  6. dont suppose anyone can point me in the right direction for the first episode of last resort, missed it but have the rest on sky+. tried to watch it on sky go but its being an arsehole and not working due to an issue sky know about but are doing hee-haw to fix :smiley-violent003: :smiley-violent003:

  7. I would check it in the main header tank first and if its down in there top up first and then top up the reservoir.

Also what colour is your coolant? peachy pink or green/blue?......buy according to which it is :icon_salut:

ok cheers guys, i think its the peachy one.
