Guys I have this problem too but unfortunately I know absolutely nothing about Subaru engines. I had this problem a wee while ago also but it went away funnily after I changed my battery obviously just a coincedence? I checked my oil tonight and it's actually a bit on the low side. Any advice to help me on my way will be greatly appreciated. Cheers

ours is just straight one not angled like the jap one, not sure what size the tailpipe is think its the same as the jap one.

thats weird, we replaced just the backbox on our STI with a H&S and its loud as fu... I can here the mrs coming along our road from about 200m away LOL It's not actually that loud in the car tho.

I will never use A-plan again and definately not Groupama. Used A-plan when I first got an Elise, gave me a great price the first year then tried to shaft me the second. The actually told me there was no way I would get a cheaper quote than what I got from them. I ended up paying over 500 quid less! I really hope you never have to claim anything from them as you will never see any money. Ours was an unusual case shall we say without going into it too much but even in our circustances their attitude was extremely unacceptable!

ours was due on the 1st Jan not really a great time to outlay £400 So 2 x £225 is better for us.

Yep that how we offset the hit of the road tax, 6 months at a time best way to do it. Autoecosse is quite expensive but usually good cars there.

we just got the renewal for our STI yesterday. The car was stolen in Dundee in August but was found close by with no damage but there is a key missing. Tried to make a claim but they messed around for 4 months so told them to ram it. So now even tho the claim was not paid we have lost half of our no claims and our policy is going up from approx 500 to £2300!!!! We used A-Plan as a broker last year and they didnt even help out with our claim so we wont be using them again. Oh and avoid Groupama coplete shower of .........

cheers guys, think it is dump valve as dont re-call it before. I have tried to set it up. I have turned it approx 1 turn from where it was set originally by AWD. Does anyone know how many turn you can turn it?

Hi long time reader but first time poster. I have a wee problem, when I am cruising and put my foot down I get a hesitation almost like kangaroo petrol (like you dad used to do when you were a kid LOL) This happens between 2.5k and 3.5k rpm. After this the power is spot on. I am trying to figure out what is causing it but my knowlege is not great. Also get a little pop when letting off. We recently fitted a turbosmart supersonic to the car, is this just not set up properly and need tightened up? Any help greatly appreciated.
