  1. Ian You were right from the word go. The Boost control solenoid was the culprit. It was really annoying me to what was wrong. So I removed the solenoid again and stripped it down. When I took the solenoid apart there was a metal diaphram that had split in two. I stuck it back together with hi temp silicone reassembled then went a run. Superb back to full boost, just over 1 bar. Car feels quick again. Don't need to go for the diagnostic check now and have my pants pulled down over the price at local dealer. This was just a temp fix so now I can be sure to order the correct part. Thanks agian for your help Ian much appreciated. Chuds.

  3. Just been on the phone to the local Subaru Dealer and there telling me there is two boost control solenoid's. Any ideas which one is more likely to go. The prices they quoted me were £170 and £120 for each solenoid. Thanks for your help.

  5. Ok I have taken the boost control solenoid out and cleaned it through with carb cleaner. I have also fitted a new MAF sensor and removed the APEX induction kit and reinstalled the original air box. No change its still only showing 0.5 bar on the boost gauge and still feels slow. Any ideas anyone. Could something have gone wrong with the remap? What kind of money is in a boost control solenoid? Thanks for your help.

  7. Hi All I'm looking for some help. I have a X reg classic shape Impreza Turbo. It has a full de-cat exhaust, apex induction kit and a full ecutec remap. The car has been running great and showing 1 bar boost on the gauge, but the other day i went for a drive and the car feels really slow. The boost gauge is now only showing 0.5 bar Boost. The car seems to drive perfect, but when it come son boost it feels really slow now. Anyone got any ideas whats gone wrong. Thanks for your help.

  9. Hi All Sorry if this has been covered before. I have a X reg Classic shape Impreza and i was thinking about changing the steering wheel for a Momo team wheel and boss kit. I've seen you can buy an airbag boss kit which states the light will go out on the Dash. Is this correct. Also will the horn still work? Thanks for your help, its much appreciated. Chuds
