Met a gritter on the way to Turriff,he was coming towards me It was like driving through a sand storm.Peppered the front of the car chipping the paint in loads of places. even slowing down to 40 made no difference. This p***k was going full tilt.You expect gritters in the winter , but not at this time year. Would i have a right to complain to the council about this and would it get me anywhere.Only had the car 8 days. Anyway on the positive side , the problem i had with the clutch,turned out to be 2 missing bolts on the exhaust heat plate.

Cheers and thanks for the comments.I am off to see a guy this afternoon about my clutch release bearing,hopefully he will tell me it is nothing sinister.Will update you when i get the good or bad news.

Just got this car last friday, Subarus are completely new to me.Regarding the maf sensor what does this do and what problems will the induction kit cause,it was already on the car when i got it.But i do have the original airbox.Any imfo would be great as i am trying to find somewhere that will fit a clutch thrust bearing without breaking the bank.
