About woodywrx

  1. ok thanks. Wher can i get that dne? Any garage?
  2. ok il give it a go. Thermostat is a new 1 to. Had that replaced wen engine was rebuilt.
  3. it still has a bit of 'fudge' colour to it, but the head gaskets have just been replaced with skim and pressure test. i have to try bleed the coolant system every time i want to go anywhere as the foam just builds up again? ive been looking online and think the system might just need to be flushed several times. what do you think?? and if it does, is it worth using a radflush or just clean water?
  4. yeh nice to meet you too, thanks for the bits, car now running alryt. just want to pick your brains, its overheating and i have bled the system but it seems to have a sort of white foam forming in the header tank.
  5. may have decided to keep the impreza and therefore does anyone have any tgv's available? i need 1 for my bugeye as my mechanic was nice enough to snap it. pic below of what i need. its the 1 that is by the turbo solenoidon back of inlet manifold
  6. i did my bugeye coilovers in about half that, doesn't take much if you dont hit any problems. only 2 bolts at bottom of each and the 3 small nuts on top, evan tho the rear seats have to come out and the rear seatbelt reels, depending if u dont have little girlie hands like me!
  7. yeh, 1 at either end of the rad top. Both apparently overflows from the expansion on top of engine.
  8. i had the same on my bugeye, but was a standard rad from subaru. never had any problems, they just said it had been updated and modified several times in the bugeye shape
  9. unfortunately, my scoob has 2 go, due to baby on the way. Its for sale on this site. Wil take offers. I will be back tho, as other car is also going 2 fund a classic ...maybe.
  10. yer brought a new one costing 300 from subaru themselves and after replacing a split boost hosw, the new rad split along with the head gasket going. its having the heads skimmed and pressure tested, before being rebuilt and replaced atm. just waiting for a cam carrier after the guy doing it decided to drop and crack it. then i shuld have it back.. may still need that rad if you still got it eureka?? sorry havent been on here for a while due to these problems!
  11. anyone have a spare rad to fit a 2002 wrx? urgently needed as i have a hole in mine
