any chance you could post a picture of where it is, i am such a newb to scoobies it is unreal

Had an engine management light come on yesterday, had it read and been told its the air/fuel ratio sensor also known as the Lambda sensor apparently. Well Subaru want nearly £400!! for this which i am not paying, i have managed to find the part for £110 and can get it fitted for about £60. Does anyone know of anywhere even cheaper to buy this part and any clue as to how to do this myself, is it DIY'able? I am always quite interested in learning about my car as well as saving money but cant seem to find too much about how i would go about changing it and where it is actually located Any help greatefully received Jonny_

I didnt have too many cars going past me on the Ring when i was on the bike managed about 8:30 on the bike but i dont think i will push the car too hard on there given the higher costs of consumables, well maybe a little bit hard lol Should be good fun either way and will get some videos too

Thanks for all the welcomes, reallt enjoying the car so far, i just need to adjust to the fuel consumption! So what is this Trax thing? I'm intending on taking the car to the Nurburgring in Sept, any recommendations for what i should do to the car before i go, I have been a few times on a bike but will be my first time in a car

Just a quick post to say "Hi", been lurking here for a few weeks to find some info before i went and bought an Impreza Picked up an 03 STI with 44k miles on it, blue with gold wheels of course!
