Hi I'm new to this forum and new to being an Impreza STi owner.. It's an 05 plate Prodrive UK model car and I've noticed that when it's idling, every 20 secs or so, the cooling fan kicks in for about 5 secs (the revs rise along with this) and then the fan goes off again. It never seems to be getting hotter than it should. On the civic type r that I owned before, the fan used to come on and stay on for a lot longer before going off. Didn't know if this is just how the Impreza is supposed to be or whether I should get it checked out. I know this is a basic question but as it's my new pride and joy any advice would be much appreciated! Absolutely loving the car.. Thanks!
