About Mark sti type R

  1. Hi everyone Can you keep the undertray on with aftermarket headers, even if i have to cut some of it away??. if it has to be removed will the manifold get damaged due to it getting wet without the undertray on?? Any info would be great Mark
  2. Hi everyone since i got my car mapped, the car is a bit slow to start and there is blue smoke from the exhaust on startup, here is the condition of the plugs that my brother took out of my car a couple of weeks after the map pics below my brother put in new plugs since and it was fine for 3 weeks no blue smoke or anything, and then the problem started again I emailed Andy Forrest but i got no reply and that was 4 weeks ago. my brother thinks its overfuelling on startup would this cause the problem? Any help would be great Thanks Mark
  3. I didnt know that you could buy rear camber pillowball top mounts, pity i didnt know when i bought them
  4. There is no camber adjustment on the rear of the bc coilovers, I bought eibach camber bolts for the back from scoobyparts im getting the alignment done tomorrow http://www.scoobyparts.com/acatalog/EIBACH...MENT_BOLTS.html
  5. I am adjusting it on the top of coilover the little dial with soft/hard marked on it. thats what i cant understand how come its not bottoming out at the front and its the same height as the rear?? I have seen members cars on scoobynet that are lower than mine with 215/35/18 and no problems with coilovers, would rolling the rear arches help? if that dont solve it would i need to get adj camber bolts for rear? Thanks Mark
  6. Got them fitted today, but since i have it lowered its hitting the arch at the back going around bends and slight bumps on the road and even when i adjust the stiffness there is no difference, there is about a 1 inch gap all around its fine at the front no problems. when i get the suspension alignment done will this fix it? Can the rear oem camber be adjusted to fix this problem because the top of the wheel seems to be sticking out more compared to bottom of wheel? im dissapointed with them, i thought with so much damper stiffness that i wouldnt have any problems like fouling the arch and scrubbing the wheels My car is a 98 sti type r with 215/35/18 and rota gra alloys. coilovers are br series
  7. Hi everyone would anyone know how to adjust the ride height properly on bc coilovers the front and back is too low? where do you measure from? I want to lower it 35mm on 215/35/18 on a classic impreza. is that normal with rear coilovers they have to be forced to line up with the holes on top, the front ones went on with no problems? Can you adjust the ride height without taking off the coilover? any help would be great and if you have pics? Thanks Mark
  8. stay away from flat4online, a few members on scoobynet had problems with them http://bbs.scoobynet.com/drivetrain-11/788...fouronline.html
