  1. Hi Martin....i remember your car well coz of the plate.

I take it you still have that car and its the rear suspension that is clunking?

yes still got that car getting murtaya as weekend toy/drt

rear suspension clunking on potholes etc had same at front and got revalved prior to trip but 5 laps of the ring and rear started clunking typical lol

murtaya is running a month behind schedule but should be 2.1 engine tuner stoker with type r gearbox and simtek mapped by steve simpson, standard td05 turbo so 340bhp +/- methanol=3.5 to 60 and 8 ish to 100 i9n 2 seater 4wd blue-of course-sports car

  2. Hello Martin...what did you drive back then as it was so so so long ago?

I hope you well with the Engine Tuner build...i've heard really good reports about both Alan and Martyn

it was a tsl modded blobeye think i had private plate on m333 tsl,now deciding whether to rebuild ast or get new bc coilovers as decidely clunky at the rear after recent trip to ring

  3. andy has emailed me saying 20g should have minimal lag and not really different to 18g except more power so will have re think-i need to get the car made first lol

    martin

  4. i have a afp 20g, with a few other tweeks incl; gruppe s headers and up pipe, standard top mount.

made 405bhp on 10% meths and NF mix

Now on straight V-power and running about 380bhp

as far as spool, i make 1.5 bar of boost at 3400rpm ;)

I ran a 18g before the 20g, the 20g has much more mid range punch / pulls all the way to you need to change gear,

always thought the 18g ran out of puff-that is interesting to know-still thinking options through

  5. Yes it should be great in your car. I had a look round them up at the motorfair. Was yours there or was the white one the demonstrator?

mine is awaiting engine from engine tuner then iva so should be june

white one is a 240bhp lightweight sprint one while black one was bitz built one

  6. he still offers them when i phoned him a while ago, hopefully getting steve simpson simtek co-creator to map it so in a light car with fmic i really dont want much lag hence 18g vs20g

    martin

  7. thinking of putting andy forrest 18g on my murtaya anyone running one would 20g be more laggy or more depedent on mapper and is 400bhp possible with 10%methanol??

    thanks

    martin

  10. bitz are building their demo and it should be at motorfair on sunday hopefully

my scooby reg is m*** tsl on a blob eye and has been at alford a couple of times an i was at glenshee run in 2005

murtaya will be 2.1 stoker by engine tuner just deciding between tdo5 or s206 turbo at moment lol it will be road spec but due to hassles from vosa may get a loan of the white sprint version :P

    martin
