  4. Elephant is good for playing around with the quote online Always add a female to the quote even if they will never drive the car (i've got my mum on mine and it saves me near £150 and im 28 with 10yrs NCB) Play around with the mileage, excess, and everything on the online quote and you will be amazed at where you can save

  8. Dodo juice is a wax mate it really does not get swirls out The only way to remove or reduce swirls and scratches is to use a good polish (Autoglym super resin polish is good by hand) or even better is to have it machine polished, i use Meguiars stuff by machine and its really good, once the finish is as good as you can get or are happy with then its time for the wax to protect and slightly enhance the finish
  9. Never heard of it but dont waste your money You can get stuff and do it your self cheaper and better
  10. Looks really good mate, personally not too sure on the white alloys cant really decide if i like them or not I have the same BOV, turbo smart supersonic
  11. As per title, will they fit? I have the chance of a set of Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs just want to make sure they will fit Cheers
  12. I'm an amateur/enthusiast detailer and wouldn't mind spending a few hours cleaning, machine polishing and waxing another scooby, in return for a few beer tokens Where about are you? I would really need the car over 2 days or at least from first thing in the morning till darkness falls dependant on condition of course
  13. I like it , but its not something i could live with day to day its just not big enough. would be a great weekend toy for most people with family ect the older style's are much better compromise between power and size
  14. I'm seeing it on every thread even old ones
  15. yes true m8 I just used a few small washers to replace the spacer, seems to have worked well and they look identical to klc32's when fitted
  16. You can modify the Klc30's to fit the same as klc32's, all you need to do in bore out the 8mm hole to 10mm that same as the other end and replace the bolts, washers ect I have just done a set to fit my car I had to buy the bolts, nuts and washers in bulk to get the correct ones i wanted so have extras
  17. Yeah sounds like droplinks, i just changed mine because they were knocking seems strange that you only noticed it after the springs were fitted though!?!
  18. I too always sell privately to get a better price, i was just letting you know of my price shock Ive seen them on forecourts locally, 54 wrx for 8K and they don't seem to be selling, the private sales must be even harder just now here's a free price guide http://www.wisebuyers.co.uk/index.jsp?guid...mp;x=41&y=2 I KNOW THESE SITES ARE NOT GREAT AND IT IS A GUIDE ONLY!
  19. Not very much at trade price im afraid to say I test drove the new STI at the weekend and was shocked when the trade in figure was said £4.5k book price (and i seen it with my own eyes) for a MY53 with 42K Miles and in mint condition would give me 5250 against the new STI though needles to say im keeping what i have
  20. Was it you that drove past my house last night too Greig? Heard ya coming down the street and the misses jumped to the window
  21. I was there today too But my pics are cr4p and not worth showing
  22. I wouldn't mind more power so count me in as a possible (Date and price dependant)
