  1. The pins should budge but may take a little time working them in and out to free them a little punch helps too get them started as for the caliper bolt get a new one first then get an old socket the next size down and chap it on firmly and try removing big extension bar helps these bolts can be a bit tight if that doesn't work then you'll probably need a proper socket that cuts it's self into the bolt as you try to remove it

  2. Thanks Chris - how did you get on with sale - did the person turn up ??

Sold mate :brickwall: no haggleing or anything guy had a quick look around and had already made his mind up took him out the back roads scared the s**t of him in the first mile or two he asked me to drive back slow and he would buy the car :icon_fU: cash handed over job done

  3. Eh changed to rear wheel drive Pffft fook that the AWD rules

The Subaru BRZ shortly to debut at the Tokyo show is, of course, huge news for the iconic Japanese brand. And though it's got a 'proper' boxer engine the move to rear-wheel drive is going to cause some soul searching among traditional Scoobie fans.

  4. I used to use a couple stong planks of wood and some bricks underneith to give it a shallower slope to get onto the ramps.. Necessity is the mother of invention afterall :wizard:

i have 2 bits of old kitchen worktop that i use and can get the back up but the front is just a pain in the :icon_butt:

  5. BTW - Need to thank you Chris... after you drove past me and the mrs last night, she commented that the hawkeye doesn't sound as good as the classic, I explained that it was cos it has a crappy powerflow system instead of an proper aftermarket one - then she said, "oh well, you can just buy a new one" Sweet !!

    Haha glad to help :Scottish-flag:

yeah makes life a lot easier with the wheels off even the fronts

  6. Got a tracker installed by the previous owner, but it's not activated, that's about £150 a year I think. But I put it into the quote online and the quote went up £100. How does that work? Thought it would bring it down if anything.

I was thinking of having a garage built last year to keep my impreza in so put it on a quote to see how much i could save and it actually went up over a hundred £ extra as a pose to sitting in full view in a drive way!?!?!?

    Just plain crazy :icon_hang:

Im 30 own my own house and still add my mum on my policy as a named driver and it saves me about £120 a year!?! work that out? :brickwall:
