Guys, thank you for your replys, that will explain it i have looked at my husbands logbook for his Evo and it does not show a Co2 reading on it his is classed a PLG !!!!!!! so he is getting away light!!!! my logbook shows Co2 emmisions as 298.

Hi Bluepeter27 justs wants to say hi and ask a question at the same time please? I Paying £405 per annum road tax for my Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon year made 2000, registered in the UK November 2007. My husband drives a Mitsibushi Lancer Evo IV year made 1997, firts registered in the UK November 2008 he pays £190.00 per annum. Can anyone tell me why such a massive differance in premiums? it seems stupid to me that are cars are about the same spec and CO2 outputs or is he getting away with a lower premium when he should be in the same tax bracket as me?
