looks like i may be missing tonight folks am gutted .... but have the "man flu" and my body cant tell which is top and bottom end so rather than subject everyone to my germs, i may force myself to stay in and rest. if plans change i will see you there, if not it will most likely be at brands hatch next month, thursday night.

some of u may remember that last month was supposed to me the first jap meet at brands hatch. gates open 6:30 ish and its a quid or so to get in.... im stuck typng this on my mobile, as no internet access at work. but full details with a link were posted mid february. its same as the vag one that runs each month. but im going, if people wanna know more please call or text me 07717277070

I work in the motor trade and know PLENTY of garages and mechanics, but no one who REALLY knows subarus inside out. I have a few "noises" developed, well at least i think i do, since ownig the car six months. but as i am getting used to it i am noticing different things it may just be me. Also when i am getting to 80+mph ( on private roads ) I get a slight shaking through steering and noise, I dont think its bearing but dont know enough about imprezas to be able to tell.. To top it off the dreaded EML light came back on a week or so back, same missfire fault.... but no problems with drive, its been out over a week (once i reset code) and touch wood, hasnt come back yet. I need somwehre or someone who can drive it and say yes or no its normal, not the main dealer lol.

Ouch ! gutting i know mate. I'd find out your legal standings, regards warranty and the job not being complete then would write the garage a very strong and stern letter, keeping it professional and curtious still detailing your dissapointment and annoyance. They have had there chances, and either havent done a good job each time OR your car has a deeper underlying problem they cant spot. either way, you are not the mechanics.... they are... you only go on what they tell you, you paid your money as per their request , for the quoted repairs to be undertaken. they have not upheld their end of the bargain and fixed the car, nor can they offer an explanation as to why it keeps going bad. seek financial compensation from them and go elsewhere, but beware you may need open cheque book approach from now on.

I think it sounds good, they have food, drink, toilets, and a big carpark we will be WELCOME in just about covers all bases then.

can always re-meet back at dockside after the tunnel?....

good plan or Village is ideal location, they have HUGE carpark, so long as we tell them we will be using the bar as well cant see it being a problem. but best to phone ahead and confirm

car park is big, but i dont know how busy it gets there on fridays. thats why early birds good as its next to tescos, which ok is 24-7 opening but huge car park

I am happy to meet there and move on somewhere else if required. but I think there are gates behind the vets bit that close at night, plus no loos (for the ladys) or food and drinks and dont know what pc plod would say about being there ? as alternatives What do local people think to the following... The early bird, by tescos grove green. The malta inn , aylesford. The grasshopper inn, westerham (tonbridge wells) the Amedeus site rochester has bars pubs and Maccy d's bluewater? dependant on how their security are now a days, but usually if you ask in advance they are fine. (so long as you say you are going bars once you all met up)
