I did mine a few months ago lad and used the redline stuff. 75w 90 Fully Synthetic gear oil. Got it from Graham Goode Racing.

Its the antilag system mate.

Ill back that up lad got all four of mine back from Iain the other week, their really good.

Got these from scooby parts and it says in the advert please gap to 0.8mm. Gona get it done tomoz at garage.

Just bought a new set online guys and the advert says : please gap to 0.8mm: What does that mean? Cheers

The saga continues guys Got the car out of the garage tonight to give it a clean up and checked the ecu again as i could tell by reving it lightly on the spot the throttle response was iffy and its showing faults with the throttle position sensor an the maf sensor!!! Surly the new maf isnt bust already!? Ive got a new tps on the way but would a faulty tps cause the maf to read faluty too, just they must be linked somehow surly? Thanks very much for the help btw guys, guess i can rule out the Lamba now though. Cal

Ecu is still showing nothing, it has to be either the Lambda sensor or the tps, guess ill just have to order both

Just changed the fin back to the original and its seems to have sorted it. Strange though i thought the purple one was the louder but it must be the gold one. Ive checked for fault codes in the ecu via the diagnostic plugs but its coming back with no faults Not sure if an ecu reset would help but im stuck for any other ideas.

Hi guys. Jus fitted all my new brakes lastnyt and when out for a steady drive, first time out of the garage in 3 weeks, ive missed it. While it was off the road i fitted a new maf sensor and a different fin into the hks bov which is supposed to increase the sound. ( Childish i know but hey!) Before the car was tempramentaly kangarooing especially after the second startup of being out like i would push the throttle down and therd be nothing the suddenly it would come alive and go. I thought and was told it was the maf sensor but its still doing it so what else could it be? As for the new hks fin its shut the bov right up to nearly nothing and given me a load of turbo chatter!! Gona change it back to the original and see if that helps. Any help hugely appreciated guys Cheers

Just began fitting my recond calipers from godspeed lastnyt, job came to an end pretty soon though as theyv sent me the wrong rear discs!! Inner diameter of the old ones is 191mm the new ones are 171mm where they fit over the handbrake shoes! Not very sure how this mistake was made, they look identical from the outside. Calipers are excellent though, got mine done in red.

Mind to check the map on the website John, its in the news column on the right hand side, headline is Road Closure Info, scroll to the bottom of this page and theres a link to the map. Toes are crossed for the car to be ready Just checked the weather on bbc website and its a clear weekend. Cheers

Just wondering which is a good fluid to go for guys?

Its interesting cos the spring in the blitz one was backed right off as slack as it would go and i was still gettin a good load of chatter. Im very happy with the noise, do miss the bang pop though, am i right in sayin that the purple insert is the loudest one to fit? Disapointed to hear about bugeye 29s not working, it is ridiculous considering the price of them!

Hi guys. Just fitted my new HKS V2 Dump Valve, some peice of kit, very happy aswell. Just a couple of differences when driving you might be able to clearup? I had a blitz one on before and when the engine was on decent overrun you could feather the throttle and make the car pop and bang but now it wont do it, the throttle feels just that bit more responsive. Also with the blitz there was a bit of tuirbo chatter aswell as the blow-off from the valve on lift-off, now its all from the valve. Lastly it sounds like you can hear the turbo boosting through the bov itself! When the car comes on boost im 99% sure theres a drawing whiny noise coming from the SQV. Its 100% connected correctly just wondered what you think? Cheers

Feel like a bit of idiot askin this cause i should know but when the car comes to a stop the revs often drop well below idle then spring back up again, also sometimes when driving around there is no reponse from the throttle and then suddenly itl kick-in and you get that big jerk as it comes to life again! Is this the maf sensor? Cheers, car is a 99 Type R

Ive bean looking at the whiteline products alot recently and im seriously thinkin of doin all droplikns both antiroll bars, steering rack bushes, possibly an anti-lift kit and diff and gearbox supports. I know its nopt just a simple case of fitting it all and off you go but was wondering what you guys would suggest? Wether to go 22 or 24mm arb etc? Any help muchly appreciated, ta!

Spoke to Prodrive today and apparently theres no such thing, lol. They way their made in the factory is very different to if u refurb them apparently! Total pain in the ass!! Guess ill have to try and get as close a match as i can from a bodyshop or the like.

My centre caps are silver though, lol. Guess ill try and phone o.z or prodrive.

Really need help with this guys, any ideas of who i could phone etc? Cheers
