Hi,
This is my first post here, and i don't even own a subaru. But i felt the need to post here, just in case it was read by some of the amazing people i saw today, and i would just like to say THANK YOU.
At 11.30am Sunday i got to a bridge not to far from home, over the M40. Me the wife and kids stood and waited for the start of the convoy to come past. It seemed like a long wait, but before long we were being thrilled with the sight of hundreds of Subarus going past us.
Seeing Colins car was brilliant, and to see the support from the police just behind was proof i think, that old bill love there cars as well.
With the rain coming down, we stood where we were and waved to every single one of the cars in the rally. We would not have stood for half as long if it was not for the fact that every single car either waved / honked or flashed at us. We were showing our support for you and Colin, and just by honking back, it kept us in the rain even longer.
There were some crazy sights, and people leaning out windows to wave. Cheers, you brightened up our day.
I think what has been achieved is amzing, and each and every person who took part should be proud of they have done. My respect to you all.
Thinking of getting myself a scubby now........
