Each time the horn blasted, people looked, a man sitting in a group 20 car, fiddling with a knife around the general control area.
What are you boys like - the shame of owning an STI, eh?
-
Liking that tint next to the black - yet another item added on to the To Get Done list
Colin, you can see every little spec of dust and every little smear on the outside of a tinted window - are you sure you want to go there?
-
Thanks guys, ended up booking it in with a place I used to use years ago on the outer fringes of Greater Falkirk
-
Anyone?

Looking nice. What level of smoke did you go for?
Mine were tinted before I bought the car - dark smoke at the back and light smoke at the front, but I had the 'illegal' front tints removed to keep the car insurance-friendly. TBH, if I could have chosen, I probably would have gone for medium or light smoke at the back rather than dark... but don't think it looks too bad as is.

many have lost interest in the brand and now look back at ford for their kicks..
How do you reckon?

Hi,
Can anyone recommend an MOT garage in the Falkirk area?
I need one that will do the test while I wait, with somewhere comfy to sit and read a magazine (aside from the lavvies, like).
It doesn't need to be the 'friendly' sort, although a wee bit courtesy can't hurt
Cheers

yeah thats where ive to go, not too familiar with airth so i will be sat naving it......hope i dont end up at the top a mountain or in a loch!!
It honestly couldn't be easier to find. Head along the M876 towards the Kincardine bridges - about a mile before the bridges, just as the motorway becomes dual carriageway, exit the M876. At the roundabout at the end of the slip, take a left - Burgoynes is about 1/4 mile down that road on the right. If you reach the bright lights of Airth (which itself is about the size of a tea biscuit) then you've gone too far

Cheers for posting that, Brian.
So - breaking news - Subaru don't honour warranty claims on modified engines
Engine rev limits being constantly exceeded due to over speedingConstantly exceeded??? Eh?!
-
Eeeeew - looks like the result of some kind of epic throat-clearing!
-
Assuming the paintwork's never been repaired in that area, that's pitiful to see on a car so new!
Hope you get that sorted on the warranty

the rear camber is non adjustable.
In theory, but as I understand it there's enough play in the bolts to make it worthwhile checking. I watched John at ProGrip adjust my non-adjustable rear camber during four-wheel alignment.

Qué?

Ah, shucks - when I read the thread title I thought that Grant and Imy were going to be doing the rounds in a big gallus SIDC van... fishmonger's horn and everything
-
I recently had all four struts & springs replaced with coilovers and was charged 4 hours at £47 per hour, plus a single payment of £65 for alignment.
Unless your garage were subject to some especially wacky mitigating circumstances, then 8 hours sounds like a total rip-off.

Very nice, I'm sure you'll love it!

Very scary
Glad that you and the kids are OK, hope that the wife makes a full recovery soon

Great pics!
I never tire of looking at these...

Good post, always interesting to hear about people's experiences with such things (good or bad!).
How's it driving now?
-
They sure don't make 'em as pretty as that any more
-
Yes, but still better-looking than some cars costing twice as much..... unlike the new STI saloon, which looks almost as good as some cars costing half as muchFrom £54,000 though so different price league!Anyway, I didn't bring the Jag into this, just happen to agree it's a lovely motor!
-
new shape Jag XK's
now that is a pretty looking car
Oh yes!
-
Better luck with the new therapist, Stewart
-
Wow - having looked at the 'before' pics I can appreciate what a striking improvement that is!
You must be well pleased. Hope it stays looking that way!
Have you ever done something stupid to your scoob?

It's a little-known fact that the standard Impreza stereo has a button that, when pressed, improves the sound quality dramatically![B)](https://sidc.co.uk/uploads/emoticons/default_cool.png)
...that button is the 'OFF' switch.
