i swapped it for a saxo vtr on a x plate which i bought as a run about from my brother for £2k and 1200 quid cash must've been my lucky day thanks for the warm welcome too

thanks guys Woodcote - my interior seats are trimmed with 'v3 WRC World Rally champions 96-97' and she's on an R plate but it definately has the short ratio gearbox i added the wheels & a 5ziegen exhaust and she sounds luverrrrly it's got a double decat from turbo back and my bro (who drives a 3ltr supra SZ-R) says he thinks it's pushing 300 at least - but all will be revealed at the beginning of September when i go to see Charlie at Surrey Rolling Road - i will keep you posted! it's awesome thanks for your feedback - the search for information continues . . . eurosti - thanks, will see what i can do!

Hello guys / gals, i'm new so be gentle I bought my TypeR beginning of June and absolutely love it! I've always wanted a classic and finally i got my chance & took it! The guy i bought it off was my other half's uncle & i don't think knew what it was he actually had - result for me really because i knew it was worth a lot more than he thought it was . . . cunning . . . lol There's a few questions i need clearing up, it's a TypeR V-limited 0107 / 1000, nothing on it the car anywhere says it's an STi but i figured someone on here would know what it actually is , whether it is an STi or not (i would've thought it would say somewhere if it was) either way i'm chuffed to bits with it! All i do know is that it is jap import and it's been well looked after by previous owners. Someone has said to me that it's rarer than i thought originally and if it isn't an STi it still has STi power ????? 280bhp standard? if it WAS the bargain of the century then i'll tell ya what i paid for it . . . please help - hopefully here she is . . . Since having it, it has also had a small picture appear in the August Issue of Banzai, under the club section - which i was sooo pleased about too. A friend took some photos at a meet we went to locally and sent 30 pictures and a write up about the meet into Banzai, 3 pics were chosen, 1 being the scoob pic which was used as the heading to the write up published Hope you like . . .
