  1. Unfortunately i too have suffered problems with Godspeed. I've no problem with the quality or prices charged however....... I bought re-conditioned calipers of him and sent the old ones back as instructed to reclaim my £125 deposit, since then my e-mails and phone calls have remained unanswered.
  2. how do i post some pictures? the pics are on a disc that i got from a trackside photographer at Oulton park. i'm not the most computer literate person so answers in plain english please. Craig
  3. car looking great Mike, like the front fogs alot.
  4. is there any difference between the the standard WRX intercooler and the STI, and would there be any advantage changing one for the other? C.
  5. anyone towed anything in there WRX, i'd be interested to hear how they got on using it as a tow car, how heavy was your load, how far did you go, any tips regarding fitting a tow bar! all replies greatly appreciated
  6. iirc one piston was a little difficult push back and the pad was worn a little lop sided, kinda wedge shaped, that could be the culprit then, i take it you can get re-furb kits from Subaru no problem?
  7. I was down at Anglesey yesterday for a track day care of bookatrack, had a great day on a fantastic circuit. During the day i did notice the near side front wheel was a significantly hotter than the other front wheel and put it down to it being a clockwise track, i.e. the nearside works harder than the offside, after a five hour motorway journey home the nearside whell and disc were still hotter than the offside. When i changed the pads i did notice the the nearside pads were slightly more worn than the offside. Is this a sticky caliper! Is it an easy fix, strip down re-build?
  8. TT99 is a ban for totting up points, unfortunately!
  9. Hi Guys, just logged on, living in Dunfermline, working in Qatar. Bought my first Subaru last month, a bright red wrx wagon, standard apart from a ppp, and so far i'm pretty impressed but she deos like a drink! I'm still in Qatar at the moment and was going to wait till i got home to log on but there are a couple of bits in the sales section i'm interested in so thought i'd log on sooner rather than later and then miss them. Owned a few various cars over the years with out really being loyal to one make, Clio Trophy, Focus RS, 350z, BMW 1 series amongst others. Always fancied a wrx but insurance put me off, ( i have a TT99 on my licence), but got a very good quote from Quick Fit and then started looking, wanted a wagon as it's a bit more practical and seen mine on Pistonheads looking lovely in red, poor guy spent over 3500 pounds on a brand new engine from Subaru just before xmas. I'll post some pics when i get home at the end of the month and hope to meet some of you soon. Craig
