  1. Nicely done, what did you use the make the pod holder?

used the dremel to cut all the bits out, then bought a single din 52mmx3 radio slot off ebay for £10 fiberglassed that in then bonded the gauge holders that comes whith the prosport gaugues onto the din plate then fiberglassed and filled them into place then alot of sanding to get it looking ok then primer ,paint and laquer :)

  2. hi thought ad stick some pictures up of my gauge cluster a fabed up :) thought ad go the full way and change the colour while a was at it lol tryed it in silver first but didnt like it, still undecided if a should fit white gauges or fit the prosport ones av got sitting here :unsure:Picture093.jpg

  4. hairdyer or will sound daft but take the plastic end off a wallpaper stripper so your just left with the plastic pipe and use it as a steam cleaner, tho a took my subaru badge off no probs with a hairdyer, tryed everthing like you and at the last min used a hairdyer and it came off in seconds :)

  5. just ur luck mate ,a had 2 traffic cops on bikes behind me from hillington to pollock and thought am defo getting a pull for ma plate but they just sat behind me for ages then pulled off, ano how you feel with the regi plate law ma ex had a nissan almera bought new from arnold clark still had there original plate took it for MOT 2 year ago to be told the car hadnt passed ! said the regi plate was illegal as it didnt contain the post code or the BS AU 145d number apart from that it was fine load a S##T ! if you ask me just another way to rip people off :P

  6. a had H+R springs on my V2 sti years ago asked Kenny Brown and thats what he told me to get at the time sat nice and handling was cracking, ano how you feel av been thinking the same way ma AST's could do with an overhaul one its knocking away goin over bumps think its £65 a strut to recon plus al need need locking collars old ones are seized solid there £18 so not to cheap lol plus cars gonna be off the road for at least a week tho al need to do it

  10. I was being sarcastic mate, its gleaming! I know Portpatrick very well, my Cousin has just built a few houses on his land right behind The Portpatrick Hotel at the top of the hill.

lol am abit mental when it comes to cleaning ma car lol trust me it looks clean but its mingin,av still to hover it out ud think a camped out inside tha car lol, that the white building up at the radio mast on the hill went a walk up that wee path up the cliff side

  11. Nice looking car mate, could've cleaned it though... :driving:

lol it was gleaming when i left glasgow the rain was mega bad on the way to portpatrick that was it on the saturday after it blew a gale and poured all night plus the campsite is wright up on a cliff lol u can see the rust on the brake disc just from that 1 night never camped in weather like it

  12. Yeah I've heard about people wishing it was a bit lower with the Eibachs. But also heard that the Flatout springs are more for looks as opposed to handling performance which I'm not sure if thats true. There are also the whiteline control springs so really just looking for a couple of peoples experiences with each before I make a decision.

    Cheers for the input.

defo fit the whitline bits and bobs , a had H+R springs on ma last sti found them ok Kenny Brown in hillington recommended them so thats what i went with

  13. Im not overly impressed with my SSQ either.

I thought there would be more of a WRC style "chirp" off it?

Dont get me wrong, it is loud, just not what i was expecting...... :P
