Hi not long had me scoob, and starting to notice things a bit more after a few days of driving it now. Me clutch pedal feels pretty stiff compared to cars I've driven in the past - is this normal? It's also making a bit of a creaking (not squeaking) noise when moving it. Any thoughts folks? Thanks

Ok, I shall be more specific and say that I'm not after stying mods. thinking more along the lines of braided hoses/dump valve/exhaust (when I can afford it!) gauges/removing 2nd cat etc cheers!

Ok, so it was only a week from putting down deposit to picking it up, but it felt like an age! Still standard apart from the induction. Can't afford to sort exhaust yet since my first priority is to pay off what I owe on the car, but wondering where you lot would advise me to start with a few cheaper mods? first job is to get rid of the stickers on the back, or at least the HKS one. After this, what would you all say? I'd appreciate any ideas/advice. Cheers

Hi VERRRRY excited right now, as I just put a deposit down on my scooby today! Collect it on saturday, can't wait. Went for a V reg turbo 2000, 66k miles. The place I'm getting it from is giving me £4200 for my astra coupe 1.8 (£200 more than any other garage would give me!) and also at an extra charge of £50 they're doing the cambelt for me. Wouldn't do it for nothing lol, but worth asking! Mint. I'll get some pictures up when I get it on saturday :-) Looking forward to being a part of the community :-)

As above - advice anyone? going to take a proper look at a turbo 2000, 1999 model, about 60k on the clock. Going on sunday to have a look. Was originally going to go for my mates 03 plate wrx, but insurance and road tax have denied me that pleasure!!!! This is about as much as I can afford, but still a canny step up in terms of performance from my current 1.8 astra coupe. speaking of which, anyone wanting to downgrade?! About 34k miles, good knick, dark blue, £5k but open to offers! Anyhow, hope someone can offer me some words of wisdom and I;ll hopefully speakk to you all soon!
