No check engine light come up with apexi ecu, apart from excesive knock.

I dont know either, Paul could'nt give me a answer to why it wiped it too.

A word of warning if it is the idle control valve is that when mine first started playing up i got zen performance to look at it when i was there they said it might just need a clean out, this worked but messing with it wiped the map from my apexi ecu, lucky i was there so they could put my map straight back on. dont know why this happened or if it happens every time you disconect it, but bear it in mind if you are going to change it.

Not sure about that one, mine still pops and bangs. Does it settle down after a while, mine some times will be fine, stop at a set of lights tick over is at 1500 rpm drive off next set of lights it will be back to normal.

Could be the idle controll valve, i am having this problem on my type r which has been diagnosed as this. Or the maf.

Its blue, yes has 2l turbo and has been re mapped is the only major mod, i cant remember how much power it has, will ask him next time i see him.

Its the magic tree air freshener he added that gives him a extra 50bhp You must need that trip to the mod shop,its quick but not that fast, i leave him for dead every time. (on thr private road of course)

Hi That was me in the white classic type r and a friend of mine in the the astra, that also happened to be on that private road. Dont panic its not standard lol
