Kev, I just had all that work done last year by Grant at AWD. All the engine gaskets and seals were replaced. The sump looked a bit porous bit it still seems ok. My car is a UK98 as well.... the rocker gasket had a slight leak on the left hand side and the oil just collects on the exhaust manifold creating the burning smell and smoke out the bonnet scope. Easily rectified though.. I'll dig out the reciepts as all the part numbers are listed. You could maybe give them a bell at AWD as well as they supplied the parts. Not sure if there was much of a price difference between them and the main stealers prices..

Very Nice, like that a lot...... Just wish they would add Subaru to our company car list as that would be exactly what I would order It's gonna take some cleaning and polishing...... Great wee drive up through the sma' glen from Creiff though. Must take a run through there this weekend...

The Joys of living in Alyth... nothing is on your doorstep.. Ask Andy or Grant down at AWD what he does to get a car through an MOT. I'm sure he puts a centre section CAT on to pass the MOT. Worth asking....

Hi Jerry I'm based in Perth To and try to get along to the Tayside meets when i'm home. You are also lucky in the fact you have one of the best Subaru tuners based along the road in the name of AWD motorsport in Inveralmond Ind Est. If you have not been in to see them yet i would recommended a visit as Grant and Andy N are top blokes to know When you get the Tuning bug ..... Cheers Christian.

I ended up just buying a new bumper beam for £79 as I had to get the car back together again quite quickly to get it out the paint booth. Not a happy chappy Still I'm sure your car will look good once it's done.

What sort of condition is the front bumper beam in? I had my bumper painted two weeks ago and the the bumper beam fell to bits with rust That's both the fron and rear beams replaced on my car now....

Any chance of narrowing the link down a bit?? That last link took me to the home page with loads of options Too much for me at this time of night......

Just got my car back from having the front and rear bumper painted and also the side skirts. The plastics are looking good however I need to get the whole car machine polished and waxed. I'm more at home fixing mobile networks and re wiring cars so any help would be much appreciated. I live in Tayside so any Volunteers able to help me out and get the car looking as it should be??
