For MY part, couldn't disagree with you more, sir!
Must say I like both hatch and this... although 32K seems a little steep. Whatever happened to the phrase "performance bargain"?
LOL I know you enjoy yours Glyn & it's practical but i've driven the hatch on several occasions & after owning classics, blobs & hawks for me it was the poorest for performance & handling i've driven, in saying that I don't mean it's a bad car it's just not as good as some of the older scoobs, that's just my opinion there will be loads of people out there that love their hatches.
It's when you jump back in the RA & drive a raw 17 year old car it reminds me of what subaru used to be about
-
Had a shifty today & I must say it does look better in the flesh, quite like the interior with the recaros & the spec is not bad but it just isn't for me,
There was a 330s hatch parked next to the focus RS when I was in & to be honest you would just walk past the scoob every time & go to the focus,
Subaru seem to be aiming at a different market & for me it's maybe time to move on after 15 years of Subaru ownership

LOL,yeah the same 'chocolate' engine, just like the one in yours.
Pop in and see it Bobby,it does look pretty good in the flesh.
Gav
Taking my dad out of the home in Camelon tomorrow Gav so i'll pop in for a blether about 11:30ish

As much as I try to I just don't like the hatch & i don't think much of the saloon either, if I had £32,000 to spend you can get a lot of car for the cash, is it fitted with the same chocolate engine that keeps going pop, I will pop in to see it in the flesh tomorrow but can't see me changing my mind.
Theres quite a few people recently getting rid of their hatches now as after ownership they haven't cut it.
-
Yawwwwwwwwwn only need to get rid of one scoob
-
Had mine set to first orange today in the torrential rain on the back roads & handling was just fine, sorry I can't say the same for the suzuki swift following me who had a big off into the field on a left hander ooops

Wish i'd known you were coming down Thommo I'm only a couple of minutes from Grieves you could have been round for a brew, cars stunning by the way mate hope you enjoy it, I was out for a spin in a focus RS today in the wet running 400 bhp now that was fun, it felt a much more sorted car than the scoob all round & has got me thinking lol
-
Definitely looks the part now, hope you have fun & enjoy driving it
-
if your no fast your last

Didn't think we were attending this as the post was up for a while with no interest, it's the only event i can attend over the next few weeks so I booked on with SS couple of weeks ago, see you on the day.

You girls and your black cars lol
-
After years of modding & many £000,00s spent I still maintain my T registered 98 turbo is the fastest scooby I have ever driven, bought from Fraser Anderson new & unmodified the handling & performance were awesome for a standard car.
-
Nice one enjoy it, I can see a big v-power bill at the end of the week after "i'm just going out for another wee run be back soon" lol
-
If you wan't the link to get new badges Phil drop me a goat, the cheap subaru ones look scabby & tarnish, you can get a whole set for the same price subaru charge for one
-
Let the modding commence

Best of luck team subarea good to see the WL getting a run out, hope you guy's have an excellent weekend, gutted that I'll be missing this one but can't get off for them all
Would have been nice to see Peter's beastie in the flesh as well
-
Can't wait to see it in the flesh Peter good luck mate
-
Worth the wait Al looks the biz & not many around
-
Not quite a photoshop but the next best thing lol
-
Another nice example of a timeless classic, enjoy
-
Hope your getting to enjoy the car now after all your hassle, looking good
-
Personal choice again, I thought it looked the biz on the fat-boy but doesn't look quite as good on the standard car as for big flaps woo hoo
-
After playing with it down at Kames It was so much more fun to drive I'll be keeping it for a wee while yet, probabaly store it over winter & do a bit of work on it, mines is standard & compared to some of the modded beasts it goes like stink.

Very nice mate get yourself along to some of the meets & show it off, you & Cathy can be twins

It doesn't matter a toss whether you like it or not at the end of the day, cause all you subaru enthusiasts can't afford it & by the time we or you can Subaru will be so far off the mark you'll have forgotten why you wanted one in the first place £33,000 for a scooby, the car will always sell but (WE) cant afford it.
