  1. Yeah, think the STI, is maybe a bit much at the moment. So it's a normal WRX then? How much power do they have, seem to around 220-240? So this is what i should be lookin at? http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/297511.htm Say 7k on the car, and 2k insurance, wouldn't be the end of the world. Any reccomendations for buying 2nd hand? Other sites? dealer sites? cheers.
  2. Thanks for the replies everyone. Maybe ill get a cheaper one, and cough up 2grand insurance, but it's a dam lot.
  3. Oh dear. Well thanks anyways, what a waste of time this was.
  4. How much are we talking insurance? £1200? i could live with that. Erm how do i know if it's a UK model etc. Thanks
  5. Hi everyone. Iam in the hunt for a car, as iam getting bored and pissed off, of driving my mothers 1.3 fiesta, as you would, hehe. Iam 24 years old, and been driving it since like 19, anyways... Now ive got plenty of cash saved up, but i don't wanna go stupid, still wanna get a good buy. I want somethng quick, and not stupidily expensive and good looking, so obviously iam in the right place. Ive been looking on pistonheads a lot, and it seems a lot of WRX STI's go for like 8-10k, which is about what i want to spend, maybe less, heh. Just a few things. How much can i expect to pay insurance? bearing in mind i won't have any no claims, as the fiesta is in my mums name. Im in a well paid job, so running costs im not really majorly fussed about... Whats the best way of getting one, is using pistonheads, or similar ok, or is it better to go through a specialist dealer for fear of rip off? Also is it worth me getting the STI? or a standard WRX? The STI's just look so much cooler though. Here are a few links to one's i like the look off, tell me what you think, ehe. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/259859.htm http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/317122.htm http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/195420.htm http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/324498.htm http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/303460.htm Thanks for reading guys!!!
