Thats a great help thanks. Its only that I had new pads put on last Thursday at Xtreme scoobys and they told me not to put too many miles on them before replacing the discs as they were pretty close to the mark and I need to use the car daily for work. I'll take a look at the weekend and hopefully wont get into any problems doing it. Cheers again.

Hi, I'm after some help if poss with regards replacing the front discs on my 01' bug eye. I've read a few discussions which say its a fairly simple task and my mechanic can't do them until next week so I figured I'd give it a crack over the w/e. My only stumbler is that I ordered grooved discs from ebay but they came with no fitting instructions. Could anyone tell me which direction the grooves need to be pointing on either side? Guy's Not sure how many of you use or were planning to use Day's of Chelmsford for your scooby servicing etc but I recieved a letter this morning informing me of its immenet closure on the 31st January. All departments are open til then. Bit of a shame as they were the closest to Southend. Cheers Paul
