Hi Guys an gals, I have now sold my beloved WRX and moved on to the wider world of captain sensible, fuel efficient, load lugging motoring! Though I waved goodbye with a tear in my eye and still turn my head when I hear that unmistakeable scooby sound coming down the road but after 2 weeks I can honestly say I dont remotely miss, teeth jarring pot holes, extortionate road tax, silly insurance premiums, filling up every 250 miles or twats in chaved up fiesta's trying to race me! Unfortunately we couldnt get Alconbury so it will be at Cambridge. So were going for..... 3 games, approx 10 people, ideally between lunch time and late afternoon and then going off to grab dinner afterwards at the lucky star all you can eat buffet! I'll speak to them tonight/tomorrow and get it booked up with the best time they have available. Doughboy

Time is cracking on, with only 2 weeks to go guys! We really need agreement and to get this booked up if we are going to do it! What time do people want to meet for bowling on the Saturday? How many games shall I put us down for? Is that all for numbers? No more takers? Ive not heard anything from Poon Bowl so if I dont get a response by this Wednesday ill to go ahead and book up the original Cambridge bowling ally. Doughboy

Morning everyone! Cant believe it but the WRX is now 3 years old and needs its MOT. Can anyone recommend a friendly MOT place in the area thats used to scoobies and is prepared to 'look the other way' at mods like full decats!????????? Where do you guys go for your cars? Greetings fellow scooby fans, Im currently running a TSL firestorm back box 18 months old, v good condition, with no dents, scratches or rust anywhere. It sounded amazing as a cat back, but now ive a full decat I want a quieter back box. I wondered if anyone had either a; H & S newage (classic style) back box TSL Group N back box Scoobyworld Racebox maybe even a Prodrive who wanted to swap???????? Thanks for your imput Gecko 1978, after all the comments, I think that I will give the downpipe a whirl! As for the turbo upgrade, I have done LOADs of research into turbos but none will be relavent to you as mine is a WRX not the STI so you will be looking at a different range of more powerful turbos than the ones I need. There again if you do upgrade, I might be interested in your old turbo as it is on my list!!!!!!! Thanks Doughboy

Hi folks, Got a (nice to have) dilema that I would appreciate some advice on from some of you more experienced scooby pilots? Just put a CAT BACK exhaust system on my 2007 2.5 WRX. (H&S catpipe and strait through centre and a TSL firestorm back box). Absolutely love the sound especially around town and the back roads but not sure if would really want it too much louder as long motorway trips can begin to get wearing. I have a H&S decat downpipe waiting in the wings to go on as soon as I can afford some other mods uprated turbo, sti TMIC etc. Anyway, my question is; Will the decat down pipe make a significant difference to the sound? How much louder will it be? Will it change the sound at all, deeper, harsher etc? Many thanks, Doughboy

There are lots of different events that get banded around at the meet but I would like to know which ones we are ACTUALLY going to do as i need to organise my time/diary ect not to mention moneys!
