Yeah I didn't think it was your usual office, i drive past that car park at least once a day
Nice looking car, would look better in silver though....
-
Fairly sure it would have been you, can't be too many silver blob wagons with McRae stickers that would park in that particular car park
-
Yeah thats true Mic. Have you seen it before or just memorising the plate now...?
We must've passed each other by now obviously when i've been in my works car, just a few too many black saabs about tbh

...for those who don't?
I'm possibly going to be slated, but everytime I see an Escort Cosworth I still look on in admiration. I loved the way it looked back in the day and still do now. If not more so now for its old skool bonnet vents and ridiculious spoiler.
Nothing wrong with liking the Escort Cosworth, fantastic looking car, truly lovely

Now I know exactly what saab to wave at

Nps mate, I had the same with mine, very hard to live with

I fitted an exedy one to mine (£140ish i think) and should take 300bhp comfortably, there is a seller on ebay called justexedyclutches or something like that, I got mine from there and it's been tip top, haven't heard anything bad about them..
As far fitting I got craigdmcd on here to fit mine for me, well priced and a job well done, might be a bit out of your way though (Paisley) but certainly knows his Imprezas!

I know that when I put LED bulbs in the rear of my m reg Cavalier, it came up with a wee fault on the dash saying I had bulbs out, obviously this was due to them using less w's than normal bulbs, but a resistor soon sorted this.

Definately seen worse than that lol Guess he doesn't like his back window, cos some wee scrote will put that in to get his amps etc .....
-
Could also try scottish subarus just off neilston road in paisley, 0141 884 1555 / 07791 988 191
They usually have loads of parts etc

Probably too late for this now, but do you have any DIY stores nearby etc? Somewhere that might sell paintstripper.... You never know might just get lucky.... Shop keepers might remember some neds (if thats who done it) coming in and buying paint stripper....Worth a shot?

If that was Andy Forrest in the passenger seat then he has really lost a lot of hair since!!
-
Maybe he spent all the money trying to get 18inch tyres to fit 19inch wheels??

I've seen the bug, blue with gold wheels (Rare I know!) but blob? Only one i've seen is up at Moorpark, having said that I saw one tonight with DC graphics all over it, never seen it before, wrx i'm sure.
Well i'm a silver classic private plate starting with M, either that or in a merc of some sort with plate ending SLR

Same as me mate, drive past it most days, only ever seen the guy once, got a wee wave of course

If you are looking for a box, i got one from a low mileage (55k and Sidc Member) version 5 sti TY754VBAAA, had full intentions of putting it in my uk turbo, but since i gubbed my centre diff i had to find another box....
TY754VBAAA no centre diff, but has rear diff, think your centre diff would work with this? I'm sure someone with enlighten us

Well there must be plenty of people in similar situations to justify companies like Mollymaid setting up, so I guess it's up to him to spyend his hard earned on whatever he wants to and if it makes his familys life easier in the process then that's a wee brucie bonus then ain't it!!

Here it is!
Get a front end pic, fairly sure its pre-facelift

If I remember rightly, in Outlaw, the reg doesn't match the car model year?
-
It's dead ALREADY!?!?!
-
i get it alot but i think its good fun, nothing better than beating a car so much that you can hardly see it.that what the sti is for, driving fast.
... Not just Sti's that do that
-
Dunno about members, but I'm fairly convinced that there are more imprezas in Abz area than in the glasgow area!! I'm up there 4-5times a week and I honestly lose count of the amount of them driving about!!
-
I think this could be true. Had it a couple of times on the M8 when I'm casually going past an Astra/Fiesta etc and
they start speeding up again until I get annoyed enough to gun it down the road..........and have the wife shout at me
That's a MAJOR pet hate of mine!! I do a serious amount of motorway driving (90-100k per year, obviously not in scoob) and as such I use cruise control a lot, and I can be driving along comfortably gaining on a car, pull out to overtake and suddenly find that I'm no longer pulling on the car, and in fact, the TW@T has all of a sudden decided to increase his speed, even though he hasn't for the last visible few miles..... Do these people not actually pay attention to what's happening around them? Or do they get some kick out of making someone pull back in? I mean yes I could quite easily put the foot down and continue to pass at a higher speed, but I'm sorry I'd rather not ruin fuel economy, risk points etc etc all cos some plonker doesn't like to be overtaken..... Not just a problem for Imprezas, I drive a merc day to day.
Rant over Back to boy racers, I agree with Badbaz, give it a wee blast (within reason) and give them a smile

Sti Cosworth Due For Release In March.
in Scottish Scoobies

Well I bought a Uk2000 rather than an sti due to insurance reasons, and have since had a andy f remap, and i tell you something, there is nothing that pleases me more than pulling away from standard JDM models driven by guys who think they're car is superior... Yes it may well be, but driving the best you can afford is what we all aim for?
We are all Subaru nuts here, so surely as long as it has that iconic badge then we'll love it?
Having said that, I want a type r, in white please lol
