One other quick question: Subaru want £1500 for a rear spoiler! (because it entails fitting uprated springs etc on the boot lid to stop it dropping down on your head due to the increased weight). They're having a laugh if they think I'm going to pay that. Is it possible to buy the springs separately and is there anyone that sells the spoiler (or would one from a previous model line fit?)

Thanks for the responses guys - not that I needed any convincing really! I was in love with my P1 and it broke my heart to have to sell it. This car evoked memories of that car but in a more modern format. Watch this space!!!

Am considering p.exing my 08 WRX for a brand new 4 door WRX STi and wondered if anyone had an opinion - positive or negative. Subaru are doing a deal at the moment so it is affordable. I drove it and it reminded me more of my two previous Imprezas than my current one does. Would be grateful for anyone's opinion. Thanks Gary
