  1. You blatantly trolling for a bite, it's not gonna happen in here
  2. Nice one Bob
  3. Wrap it the same colour as your wing mirrors, to stand out & would look mint.
  4. Yeah, would be better if we had a fight club..................
  5. Thanks, heat of the moment, completely f**ked up last few [several] weeks at work, man flu, screaming kids, bills, bills, snow before crimbo catching up bills, bills......... i could go on. Just bad bad timing, totally out of character & stupid tbh Everyone has a bad day once a year That would be argument Hatches are the best.... all you lada square box loving rust buckets don't know it yet....
  6. get an oil burner & if you can keep the broom car for weekends/nights. Do that for a while & what a smile you get on your face when you drive the Impreza again. Best of luck in your new job
  7. That's why i joined the day it came out too Who is Imy anyway, a new lassie?
  8. So was i last night very much so. Some people don't like getting swore at and neither do I It's been done, dusted & apologised by 2 of the people concerned for 'swearing'. For christ sakes man let it go! Do i hear a third apology? The word power keeps getting mentioned......... there is no power, this is not a government I am the same as everyone else as in having a passion for driving & hanging with like minded people. I am not on some power trip, i was asked to do the role & have been doing a sterling job & i would of replied the way i did last night regardless of what i am on here. 50 post count: waste of time in all honesty, the amount of people that would just talk gibberish and mince so to achieve the glorious 50 point post count was amazing. Then quickly vanish into the background until another item needed selling. Paying for the privilege means your details can be traced back and that can safeguard fellow members from being ripped off. Just how many folks on here get ripped off? None. Look at scoobynet it's a breakers yard for parts! This could literally go on for ever, me apologising for saying hoot off, someone moaning about the 'powers' that be...... DOH! Wish someone would just delete this thread. It's not doing anyone any favours & certainly not the club. Can we please move on now? Please! Thank you for all the texts PM's & well wishes folks, very much appreciated and you know who you are
  9. Now this is not a direct response to the above quoted person, that's why I removed the name from quote, more on the content. If you can catch me here. I was trying to be nice & tongue in cheek with the first couple of posts and was succeeding until I read above reply. That's why i replied to the content the way i did, not at the person & that is a point i want to make crystal clear folks. Absolutely not directed at anyone in person ok! Pushed hard & far enough even the most placid of guys regardless of non member, paid member, moderator, RO, committee member, admin, superman, wonderwoman or the Bee Gee's will crack.... I am so laid back in my later years I am horizontal man. For the sake of anyone's feeling please accept my most sincere apology for any offence taken. There seems to be a wee bit of unsettled water at the moment, for the peace of the SIDC lets please try and weather the storm!
  10. Wish i could say sorry but i'm not, it is not a direct comment aimed at you personally either Folk have been leaving or being inactive on here for years and months & it's not changed much for the better of late. There was a plan well before crimbo but that seems to have been lost along the way....... I don't know, i just come on here for the genuine banter.... highland fling, local meets etc. Life is too short & time is so precious to worry about an 'online forum' I'm out.
  11. As i said it is the admins & committee that make up the rules, us power hungry mods only follow the rules & are directed to do so by aforementioned committee members that make up the rules.... Frankly i really couldn't give a flying hoot what anyone thinks! It's a completely thankless task being a mod If you don't like it hoot off or go higher up the tree into committee territory
  12. Oh yes fully paid up, I/they just put a lot more personal time into the well being of the forums. If there are concerns or any issues with how the forums are being managed then please speak up , we cant fix it if we don't know its broke. A PM would certainly go a long way. Del
  13. The non paid member for sale post where getting fettled away until there was none left especially ones with limited interest by admins. Pay up £20 Neil ya cheepo everyone else has Your club needs you Have a read http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forum-32/announcement-58-old-items-for-salewanted/
  14. You can also load a single DVD disk with MP3's so hundreds of cd's in the one place [330s]
  15. Both cars are great improvements, the Hatch sti can have the ppp fitted & keep warranty. Hatch 330s is a wee bit more than just a ppp fitted. Knowing now the difference if you can afford the extra few £££ then the 330s is the way to go.
  16. fooking wains man! Hatches rule bi-atches
  17. all the best Billy
  18. RS is gorgeous Bobby........... for a FORD that is If it was a scooby i would have bought one too
  19. Why is it not an option man, the posted link is for a 330s but it's been miss sold as a 330s where in fact it's actually a 330R. It also looks like from the back the chancers have stuck a 330s badge on too. That's a main dealer, mental! Is that legal? I just think people have really given the new shape a bad rep, regardless of trim level. Ok there is a problem with the pistons on some cars & Subaru have moved away from the main stream direction the Impeza used to take. Not a lot we can do with that, but in keeping with modern times they designed a new shaped car. Utterly different from past marques to the horror of some folks You can't even buy an Impreza new now as its been changed to STI or something like that! The standard STI i had last year could just about keep up with most as a standard car (suspension wise) compared to others running coileovers & uprated springs, arbs, drop links and geometry. Just the way they have redesigned the suspension layout on the hatch it is completely different. I have & always will prefer a hatch to a saloon in any make of car purely for the simplistic versatility the hatchback gives over a tiny awkward boot. Living with 3 kids and a wife takes up loadsa room I like the updated interior trim also, again comparing the two i think the hawk is dated. That is in now way making any derogatory comments to hawk owners in anyway. Bearing in mind they are both value plasticy compared to Audi or BMW. I will be first to admit & that bugga Andy keeps reminding me i thought the hatch when it came out was the ugliest fooking thing on 4 wheels that graced the planet I did say that, i admit it. I just like the cars & i cant really type here what i am trying to say AND no doubt some dafty will come along and ''edit for accuracy'' I don't think you were having a pop as you rightly asked about what i said if i have missed anything post up buddy
  20. It is an option! as posted by OP My own opinion from personal experience living with both cars, opinions was asked for & i gave it!
  21. I would say that hatch as from experience it will piss over the spec c all day long. If i didn't like the hatch as much i would have bought the spec c as i was looking at them too That's a 330r not a 330s, big difference!
  22. Buy a classic you fannie.......... Hatches are for people like me You will NOT be disappointed with a proper classic scooby
  23. Nice one Cathy
  24. And sounds even better with the map running on that little blue scooby
