This is doing nobody any favours either personally or whichever club!
I don't really see the point in keeping this going or for that fact removing it as yet.
All relevant points have been aired, discussed & answered.
Now can the 'over moderation' brigade please step forward and have a bash & view their own personal agenda instead of lighting the blue touch paper & pissing off?
Another point, the Mods on here [and there are a few with the rights] don't just randomly delete topics or posts without going over the topic in depth!
Please guys it's a bloody car club, drive a car or something eh!

Well your certainly going about it the wrong way! Any young owners would be put of by just by reading this thread, you have them labelled as chav's and boyracers ok there is some lol but your forgetting about the young enthusiasts who are going to be put of reading the likes of this topic and go join .net instead.
Point is tho if this topic gets removed then folk just start bitchin' about 'over moderation' FFS you just cant win
Oh and yes you have a very very valid point!
Oh and just to bring up something again changing to the "internatioal" rather than "impreza" drivers club was stupid whoever came up with that idea hang your head and those who backed it shame on you lol it lost the club its identity
What can say

Second time i have been on google with a scooby
I can remember passing the google car at some other point but cant remember where!

One thing to remember is that in the days where SIDC in scotland was huge, it was branded as Scottish Scoobies! All the runs we did, the branding we had for the club was all Scottish Scoobies! The .net site came on the scene stating they were a club for scottish scoobies since it was calimed there wasn't anything like it already, which anyone interested in scoobies would easily have come across Scottish Scoobies brand which SIDC built up!..
... Anyway, point is the 'Scottish Scoobies' name alone may well be attracing people. When .net started using it SIDC stopped using it when it was near it's peak!. So the promotion we did on scottish scoobies was infact snapped up by scootish scoobies dot net and we basically let them take it. Because we werent happy with the confusions which there would ultimately be with two clubs promoting the same name. SIDC stepped back from it and have tried on several occasions to connect the tie in relations between the two clubs ever since, not so much as merge them into one, maybe that would happen down the line who knows... But as negotions tended to start off well, .net club always seem to close the doors on the idea. They don't seem to want to be associated with SIDC yet took our Scottish Scoobies brand which SIDC created and built up.
Perfectly said Al.

Hopefully sidc can get back to its old days and have me clinging to the back of the "family group" on a run
Family groups [sIDC/ScottishScoobies] rather than individual [.net] I dunno just thinking out loud.
Im not old lol
No you just drive like an old fart

Strange that!! I thought he liked brown

Yup I can wholeheartedly recommend not only the sales staff at S&S Ayr but also the staff at service department, very polite and trustworthy.
A hard dealer to beat for sure and will go back to them every time.

Looks as if you didn't change the pads???
If not, won't be long before they look like the originals..........
With Don on this one.
I would fit new pads to old discs [at a push] but not new discs to old pads

Bilt Hamber £11
You on commission G?
-
Yeah well when i initially spoke to the guys at C&C they were nothing but polite and friendly.
I did have a full system that fell to bits in various places that was custom made by them which they fixed but after i sold it on [sold car] it was still falling apart, a one off problem perhaps as others sing their praises!
So customer service ---- brilliant
Quality of work ----- brilliant
Longevity ------ not so much [perhaps a one off]

I have a large one Gordon & will fit nae problem
