Hi can anyone please advise, me? I have just brought my very first new shape scooby. Its a 2001 Y reg wrx u.k. version. Its in good condition with only 3 owners. Its got almost full service history and had the cam belt changed at 60k miles. The only thing is its covered 116k miles! Do I need to be worried about the high mileage. How are the engines for high mileage? What sort of problems may I be facing? When should I be looking to have the cam belt changed again? The car is completely standard and hasn't been messed about with, it seems to run fine, im just getting well paranoid about the high mileage? A few people have told me the engines are bullet proof, especially the newer models, but I always see rebuilds everywhere. So what sort of mileage do they run to? Sorry for going on, but I do hope you guys can help me and put my mind at rest! Cheers.

My front splitter has cracked all the way through at the bottom-bloody speed bumps!!! I have tried every kind of glue going, including the epoxy strong resin stuff thats supposed to be the best! It sticks for awhile, but then works loose and the crack opens up again, probably due to vibrations and wind hitting it when driving. Please does anyone know how I can sort this out without having to take it to a body repair place, its driving me insane!!! Cheers guys.

I have a 1997 p reg wrx saloon import. The front wheels do not sit completely central in the wheel arches, thay sit more towards the back of the rear arches, roughly 1-2 inches away. There is a bigger gap at the front of the arches. A few people have commented on this and im really not sure if its right. Can anyone advise me on this? The car drives and handles fine and straight, but I just need to be sure. I have looked at some other similar scoobys and some of them sit dead central and some sit like mine??? Cheers guys!!!

I am due to buy a impreza Terzo very soon! The owner has told me that it has a worn 5th gear selector. It drives fine, but pops out of 5th gear. He reckons it will cost around £600 to get it repaired. Does this sound about right guys? Cheers.

Oh yeah and he has said he will take £2500 for it due to gearbox. Seems cheap for a terzo right???

I'm looking to buy an impreza terzo edition. It is advertised has having a worn 5th gear selector. The seller has told me that it will cost £600 to repair it. What do you guys think to that? The guy im buying the scooby off says that he has found out that its a wrx import, but its one with a better engine, seats and alloy body parts. Anyone heard of this before??? Cheers.

Hi everyone, im new on here and am about to buy my 1st scooby. I could do with some advise. The one im looking at is a 1995 m reg subaru wrx team Mcrae series import. The guy says that the log book says its just a wrx, but he insists its a team mcrae car. It has the red top engine in it. Can you please tell me, is there such a Jap import as this? I know that there are the limited edition colin mcrae series scooby's, but this is a wrx team mcrae??? Forgive my ignorance everyone, Thanks guys.
