Hi all, Car has been written off now. I have decided to get something a bit more economical for now and hopefully will be getting myself another Scooby in 18 months time, that will be my weekend car. It has been a good journy owning my Scoob, I have a lot of good memories, one of which was the Colin McRae day. I will miss the hand waves from fellow Scooby drivers and if you see some one waving at you in a black C4 Coupe, that will probably be me forgetting that I am not in my Scooby anymore. Good look to you all, keep safe and look out for idiot BMW drivers.......

Hi all thanks for your replies, the Police were on the scene and said without doubt it was the other car driver that was at fault. A passenger of other car was injured possible break/fracture of their forearm. Fortunately I was on my own going to watch the football at my friends house, and to rub salt into my wounds we lost!!! I am getting sorer by the hour and the doctor has informed me that it will get worse before it gets better, great can't wait. I am with Keith Michaels insurance and as far as I am aware all is going as expected with recovery and such. Again thanks for your concern and hopefully all will be resolved soon. Hi all, I have had my car written off today due to someone pulling out of a junction without looking . It doesn't look good at all.

High, Could't make it yesterday, I didn't get back from the airshow at Fairford until 10pm saturday night and the Scoob is showing a management warnig light, so I am tickleing her along at the moment Could be an exspensive month

We are off to RIAT at RAF Fairford on Saturday 17th to get our ears Vulcanised. It is a very long day, so we will see how we feel on the Sunday morning. Probably won't make the August one because we hope to be sunning it up in Greece .

Looking at the way things are run in this country it is not a suprise that we lost our empire!! There is over 2 million people unemployed at the moment. Give them a shovel and get them clearing the roads and footpaths and earn their free cash that most workers are paying for from their tax's. I know that some people are genuinley sick and that there are not a lot of jobs available, but self help goes a long way. Rant over. I had to drive from Burghfield Common to Farnborough this morning, what a nightmare I don't think there has been a gritter in the area since the end of ww2. I had to drive 4 miles + before I got onto a treated road. Got to say though felt nice and steady in my scooby though. Changing the subject a bit I hope to get to the next meet up. I have been reading the posts, it seems you have a good crowd gathering, if you don't mind I will come along next time. Take care out there.

Sounds good. We are up for it, not sure what the pubs are like over in the Thatcham/ Newbury area. We need to get some more owners involved as well! My car is leaking water on top of the engine at the moment, but it is in good hands and being sorted by the guys at Bulldog Twyford. So she should be ready to rock and rumble. If you can come up with any pub suggestions please let us know.
