  1. LOL!! You lot are funny..!! You were close with the plate, but not quite I'm afraid. The above pic was taken on my way home from Rally Day. I couldn't find anywhere to stay locally to Castle Combe, so I took my little box with me, stayed at a nearby site for £12 or so, chilled out with a beer, had a lay in and left it there whilst I went to the show. Picked it up afterwards, then went home. I went to the Dordogne in France with it last year too. Here's another few to make you all foam at the mouth And one with my old Impreza in Cornwall, £100 for a week! There was an STI on the same site with a behemoth of a caravan too!!:
  2. A touch late, but who's is the black bugeye STI from Ashford..? Had a good spirited short play up to the M20 on the A2070 around 1800hrs on Sunday 18th Jan. Do you run octane booster as there was a very peculiar smell from your exhaust....
  3. Did someone call...? Don't knock it......
  4. Spotted a WRB blobeye sti on the M20 yesterdat around 1530hrs. He joined at Ashford, I left the M20 at Maidstone. He joined behind me, so i slowed up and got the subtlest of acknowledgements from the Oakley wearing driver...lol Probably thought I was driving a lowly wrx to his bewinged sti...lol
  5. Adam, I can recommend Kent Auto Films on 01227372277 near Herne Bay. I had my Mini cooper s done there and also my last Scoob. http://www.kentautofilm.co.uk/ They're owner operators too, so you know they will do a good job. They are also fully fledged petrol heads. To give you a *rough* idea of costs, my '03 wrx was done all round for £220 about a year and a half ago. They also take the door panels off when fitting to make sure it goes right down and sticks properly and trim the edge with a razor to make sure you have no problems with the frameless windows. They suggested I kept my windows closed for a few days after having it done so that it sets nicely without any possible up/down movement. A very good guy and recommended through personal experience. IF I keep my scoob, I'll be going back there very shortly myself..!! Nige, Dover.
  6. Just as you come into Deal on the Dover>Deal road...!!
  7. I did wonder as I've spotted a JGM stickered up Scoob in Walmer which is a stones throw away from me....
  8. Just me then..?!!
  9. Hi all, Are there very many of us Scoob owners in the SE Kent area..? Sort of south of Faversham and east of Ashford..? Nige, Dover.
  10. Nearly forgot, spotted a white classic and it's owner at Bluewater, same day, bit later on though (6-7pm ish?) just parked up near to the doors where the RAC desk is.
  11. A bit late, but spotted a WRBlue Newage, stickered up on the M2 near Buckmore park on 1st November around lunchtime. I was headed towards Bluewater, you were headed away, both in the outside lane of each motorway, but still spotted each other as we turned our heads..lol!!! No chance to wave though as we both disappeared in opposite directions..!!
  12. Hi Mark, I'm going. I'm still working out what stages I can do..? Mostly Friday and Saturday though, as the last time I did it, it was in '05 and I did the Millenium SS and I was intending to stay at Margam all day after an early start (and 3 points from the camera van on the M4 bridge), but regrettably Margam was cancelled early due to the terrible accident. Looking this year mainly at Rheola/Resolfen & Walters Arena, with the millenium SS and the start and finish with a few trips to service. Nige.
  13. I'm going to chance my arm and will be in the car park with the door dingers Won't be able to convoy up either as I'm going up on Friday and coming back on Sunday, can't handle these early atarts any more...!! I also read that the Essex branch will be running black ribbons on wing mirrors in light of the tragic news on Colin McRae. Do Kent Scoobies intend to be doing similar..? I think it may be a more sombre day after recent events. Nige.
